Got a Groupon deal for me and my sweetheart but took a guy friend instead. We were treated like royalty! Massage was great!

I also wish I could give 0 stars but it doesn’t matter since they are out of business now. I got a full refund from Living Social cause they verified they went out of business before it expired.

I bought a Living Social deal for this place and scheduled my appointment. By the time she could get me in, my deal would have expired, but she said that wouldn’t be a problem so I was grateful for that. I was even willing to give her the benefit of the doubt after reading all of the terrible reviews here on Unilocal.Well, my appointment was scheduled for yesterday. I was there on time, but she never showed up. I tried calling and left a message, but I still haven’t heard back. Now I’m just hoping I can get my money back from Living Social. These daily deal sites need to stop promoting her business.

I’m giving a one star because: 1) I really disliked working with her over the phone as she was curt and rude. Every time you call her you are going to get the harshly recorded message saying that she will call you back. If you don’t answer the phone when she has time to call you, you obviously don’t want a massage, etc from her. When you do talk to her on the phone, she really doesn’t seem to be interested in being friendly with her customers or helping them find an appointment time. 2) Her hours. Monday through Friday last massage begins at 4:30. Which cancels out the weekdays for me, and half the country, since we work an 8 – 5. Saturday was something like 11 to 2. 3) Lead time for an appointment. I opted for the next open Saturday she had when I talked to her on June 21st or thereabouts. August 17. Yes. You read that right. I had to wait almost 2 full months. 4) Her hypocrisy. If you are going to require your patrons to give a 24 hour notice of cancellation, you should keep the same standard for your self. I only got a 20 hour notice, but some did not receive any warning that they were wasting their time by driving to the venue. 5) Cancelling on patrons. She called me at 5:30 the day before my 1pm appointment to say that she was short staffed and would have to reschedule me. I couldn’t believe it. I think my jaw literally dropped. Really? I think you would know earlier than the day before if all of your appointments were covered or not. From looking at the website, it’s just her. Methinks that she’s just lazy and didn’t want to work that day or double booked because she didn’t check her appointment book. Which brings me to… 6) Terrible website. No information about what anything she provides is. Incorrect information everywhere. And a slideshow? 7) Her comments on the other two reviews. They were just irrelevant and ridiculous. I’ve posted them here as well, just in case she realizes how she sounded on August 8, and deleted her comments. 7A) «When groupons are first sold there are alot sold in the first few days. Having to wait a week or two is not uncommon. Everyone cannot come in at the same time. Also if you wait till the last few days to make an appointment before it expires you may have to wait because you are not the only one that waited till the last minute to schedule an appointment.» What a run-on! You must have forgotten that you made some customers wait 2 months. Which really isn’t acceptable. If you get a ton of calls because you decided to create a Living Social AND a Groupon deal, you need to rethink your hours once your booked for two weeks straight. She mentions it expiring… neither deal expires until after October. So, the lady didn’t wait until last minute. 7B) «When customers show up without a copy of their coupon, they have to reschedule their appointment. Their is also a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with short notice you will not be able to use your coupon.» Their! She didn’t say that she was denied because she didn’t take the Groupon voucher. She said that you didn’t show up to the appointment. p. s. I only got a full refund from LivingSocial because she didn’t give me 24 hours notice of cancellation. **Edit: Update after her response to address a couple of things I left out. Nothing above was changed** I was called once, I forget what day and am too lazy to go through my call log, with no voice mail. I called back thinking she was just confirming my appointment and left a voice mail. Granted, she did call again to verify the cancellation the day before. And she did offer a couple of different days and times, but I booked everything around that appointment. The weekday evenings at 6 were not offered until I started saying I wished to have a refund. Revenge? Nah… not my style. Just like to help others stay out of a frustrating situation. The reviews is what Unilocal is all about, so anything posted is completely open to anyone to form an opinion on. And I don’t know what customer you pissed off, but the one calling to yell at you was not me. In regards to the hours of a business which the line of work is helping others relax when they aren’t working, I don’t think consumers should have to check hours if they have a schedule that coincides with the majority. Living social knew about the situation 10 minutes after it happened and called STR while I was on the line.

I wish I could give zero stars. I gave my mother-in-law a massage voucher to Something to Remember Massage and Spa as a Mothers Day gift. Not once but TWICE, she scheduled an appointment, arrived at the location, and she was stood up. Completely unacceptable.

I’ve bought the groupon for this spa for two. I bought It is not even mid June and I called to make an appointment for me and my mom, and they told me that they don’t have any spots available until July. I’ve never had spas tell me there were no free spots till the next month! Terribly disappointed as my mom is leaving the country late June.
