«It doesn’t smell like feet!» — was the first thing I thought of when I walked in. This skating center was very clean. No trash to be found anywhere and employees were wiping all the surface areas throughout the night. Most skating rinks I’ve been to smelled like feet and dirty kids but there were no foul odor here. The area where you skate at was huge. There was plenty of space for everyone and floors were even. There’s a «bump» corner where there were humps on the floor for you to skate over. Lockers are available for storage and there’s also a snack bar. The music selection was definitely different compared to what was played when I was a child. At one point, some song had the lyrics«back that booty up» on repeat. Not the most appropriate thing to be playing with all those children around. What happened to the chicken dance? The Macarena? Those are classics for skating parties! Employees were so nice here. The kids were annoying and did whatever they wanted and skated in any direction they felt like but they got called out on over the speakers for not following the rules. I liked that. Kids need to be disciplined! Admissions and skate rental are $ 5 Tuesday thru Thursday and $ 8 Friday and Saturday. On Thursdays there are skate lessons from 6−7pm for $ 7. I had a great time here and it doesn’t matter how old you are, skating will never go out of style!
