I love Starbucks, and this is the closest store to our house. My husband and I come here often, and the workers are usually very friendly. A few times my caramel macchiato didn’t taste just right, and they were happy to remake it for me. They recently had a remodel to update their look. I’ve never noticed it being dirty but usually go through the drive through. They also have nice seating outside which is a larger area than most Starbucks stores.

Made one visit here to get drinks from the drive-thru. I had no complaints. Our order was correct and and the service was fine. I think the low ratings for this location reflect the lack of Unilocalers visiting and reviewing this venue. When there are so few reviews, I’ve often seen the skew go negative, because it’s only people who don’t get what they expect who take the time to flame the business. C’mon, OKC Unilocalers, give the locals an ACCURATE view of this business. Looking forward to seeing some more reviews!

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to and I have been to Starbucks across the country. The place is filthy. Dirty, fingerprinted windows and display cases. Floors have crumbs and food all over. Flies flying around the register area. The workers are not friendly and don’t even speak at all. They don’t write names on the cups and don’t call out the drinks. People can’t figure out what drink is what. People coming back saying this is not mine and or made wrong. The drinks in the same order don’t come out together. I just saw someone walk out because there was not a clean place to sit. I cannot believe this place is allowed to operate this way. A half gallon plastic jug of half and half on the counter along with an empty one that they can’t figure out needs to be thrown away. There is no other option for milk. Ridiculous! I will NEVER be back to this place.

You have to royally screw up to get Julie S. mad at you. And a couple years ago, I would have been in agreement with a lot of the sub-par reviews for this location. It really… really… sucked. It was more the baristas’ poor attitudes than anything else. But when the lackluster service combined with a relatively small location that gets crowded quickly, what was left was a Starbucks I would go out of my way to avoid. I’m not sure why I started coming back here either, but I’m glad I did. And props on the more recent hirings, because the baristas now are fantastic. They’re hard working, fast, and kind. And a lot of the new good baristas are male. I’m not suggesting there’s some relation there, but I’m just sayin’… The male baristas at this place are good at their jobs. Not overly fake friendly, but the quiet friendly where they just want to do a good job. I’ve lost count how many times I’ve received free coffee over the last couple months. No I haven’t, it’s been like… at least four times. And it usually plays out like this: Jeff: Hi there. Could I get a Tall Pike Place, please? Friendly(Male) Barista: Absolutely. :walks over to coffee and walks back: Friendly(Male) Barista: So that Pike isn’t very fresh and it will take a minute to make some more. Would you mind if I get you an Americano instead? It’ll be on the house and it will taste much better. Jeff: Sure! Friendly(Male) Barista: Let me know if you don’t like it, and I’ll get you some fresh coffee. Who does that? Who goes that extra step anymore? Apparently this Starbucks does. P. S. Mini frappuccino is the stupidest thing ever. Mostly because it’s only $ 0.20 cheaper. Why even?

I have been an avid Starbucks person for at least seven years, drinking Starbucks on any and all trips I’ve been too. I have been to this Starbucks several different times. People have told me bad things about this place but haven’t been disappointed til the last time I went there. I bought a $ 5 cappuccino and was so excited because I had one before at another place and it was like heaven in a cup. I got one before work and when I got to work I was so disappointed beyond belief. This was the last straw and will not go back here and maybe not go to another Starbucks. Even though this is the closest one to my work I will go out of my way to go to a Starbucks… if I ever go back to one.

This is the closest Starbucks(and coffee shop period) to my house, but I will honestly usually choose to go to the MacArthur location because it is generally faster, even if the line is longer. Having said that, I think this location has improved; it hasn’t been horribly slow any time I’ve been there recently. It used to be very inconsistent with speed, service, etc., but I haven’t noticed any problems lately. The inside has been remodeled within the past year or so and it looks really great. Baristas are usually friendly, my drink is usually right and tastes good, so I can’t complain.

There are a couple of friendly baristas there. Also there’s a lady who I think is a shift manager or manager who clearly hates her life & wants everyone to go away or hate theirs too, and they regularly can’t make the same drink twice. Starbucks thrives on standard & repeatable routine so you can make the drinks right. 2 stars for friendly people, though they are a rarity.

What do you really want me to say here? Well, I’ve never been INSIDE of this one(if any Starbucks, honestly), so I can’t attest to the dirtiness of it. The service is average. No one’s ever effed it up and they don’t have an attitude(as far as I’ve seen). It’s meh. Get my overpriced coffee and go without any problems.

I go to this starbucks about three times a week. I think that they have been doing a much better job recently which prompted me to write this review. They have done some work on the place and I think there is a new manager as they are being really peppy on service and I see some new staff. Same olé Starbucks coffee but being run well. Also, they have been keeping the place cleaner and done some work on it the past month or two including replacing the entryway mats and doing work on the bathroom.

Yikes. This Starbucks has made me crazy for years, but yesterday was kind of the breaking point. I used to know some of the staff that worked here years ago and it was a much better SBUX then. One of their wonderful managers became a nurse, one got moved to Nichols Hills(and good for her). Expressway and Rockwell has been slouching toward terrible ever since, which sucks since it is the closest coffee to my folks house. This review has been a long time coming; I apologize in advance for the length. This Starbucks is often visibly dirty. Floors, milk bar, doors, patio. But that’s in fact the least of its problems. The staff is famously some of the worst I’ve ever seen in a company as good(and as good to their employees) as Starbucks. I have had several issues with the staff over the years, including once where the staffer was so rude to me, I called back and asked to speak to the manager. I was put on the phone with the manger, and I said, one of your employees was just so rude to me, I can’t remember ever being treated so badly. She asked for the woman’s name and I said I didn’t get it. She asked me to describe her, and I said, «Middle age gal, sorta heavy set…» long pause… long pause… «Um, okay.» Oh wow, the person who was so incredibly rude it required a call back to the manager IS the manager. I’m sure I didn’t make her day with my honest description of her, but when a manager is that rude it doesn’t bode well for the rest of ‘em. A few weeks ago, they made my latte with real milk instead of soy. This would have caused a complete system failure in my body in about 15 minutes. Milk does not do this body good. At all. They were rude about remaking it, which is so incredibly dumb. There was no one behind me in line, there was no rush, there were at least three people working. Dump out the latte, make a new one, but let’s 86 the attitude, kids. I worked in here yesterday for a while. Nearby, a shop girl huffed her way through the setting up of a display for Starbucks new pod coffee system. Later, a well-dressed, savvy-looking older woman stopped by to inquire about purchasing this system, how it works, etc. I literally heard the guy working there say, «Yeah, but if you buy this one, you can only buy our pods,» in a tone that said, don’t do it grandma. She wandered back to the counter to buy some ground coffee. She clearly likes Starbucks and wants a pod system. Sell her the machine, dude. I don’t think it matters what kind of machine you buy, you’re going to have to buy pods somewhere. Probably better for grandma if she can buy pods at 32 locations around town than having to park and shuffle into Bed, Bath, and the next dimension or whatever. Some training is needed on the sales of things other than pumpkin spice lattes, but somehow methinks this may be, again, one of the least of their problems. The final blow for me, and likely for anyone who had seen this, was the off-duty staff collecting in a seating area near me. One girl(about to start her shift, I believe) was loudly talking about how she wanted to get mono, so her plan was to kiss every guy on campus in an attempt to get mono and be able to miss the rest of the year. This is both dumb and gross. Dude, it’s college. If you hate it that bad, save yourself the trouble of flunking and just drop out. And I’d scold myself for eavesdropping but she clearly thought she was being cute so she was talking much more loudly that was warranted. As she talked, her other friend(just finishing a shift, I believe) looked around for a chair. As she looked around, instead of grabbing one of the three chairs that was literally within arm’s reach, SHESATONTHECOFFEETABLE. Cross-legged. Butt and feet ONTHETABLE. I will never, never understand a staff member thinking this is okay, nor can I begin to understand how any manager could have created a culture where this behavior seems(even remotely) acceptable. Even if she personally bleached it down after, it was also, like the quest to contract mono, both gross and dumb. So there you have it folks. My vote for worst Starbucks in America.

A good sized store with a drive through and plenty of seating and power outlets
