MYFAVORITEEVER! Without the Loaded Bowl I might starve as I have forgotten how to cook since they introduced their meal planning service. With the service, you order from a weekly menu and they deliver to your house on Sunday. I get a delivery every weekend for my next weeks meals which I’ve been doing for over a year. Now they are opening a restaurant and scaling back their meal planning but still offering bulk(pans instead of individual servings) for pickup which is such a relief! I’m not kidding, they keep me fed. I actually love preparing plant-based food myself, but I’ve really enjoyed the peace of mind and the additional time I have from using their food service. I think it goes without saying, especially if you read other reviews, the food is outstanding. Hopefully they will franchise at some point so I can open a LB when I move out of state!(Yes, that’s how addicted I am).

We got their thanksgiving dinner take out and would likely try it again. The pick up time window was small but the food was well presented and packed. The food is well seasoned and has reheated well. There were not clear reheating guidelines. We wish we could have gotten a side of gravy for the stuffing and loaf. Being our first time ordering we now know more about the process. I would definitely recommend this for someone wanting to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan at their house the meal was filling and well seasoned.

The loaded bowl was not what I expected by any means. I don’t know why I was thinking baked potatoes and stuff but oh well it ended up being a pleasant surprise. I saw this truck at H&8th and the line was short at the time so I hopped in it and decided to ask others what they would recommend and unanimously everyone said the Mac and cheese. I’m a lover of Mac and cheese so I took the plunge and ordered a huge bowl of it. Now I must say this… it wasn’t awesome but it wasn’t bad. It was a different more savory taste than I’m used to(not exactly cheesy but very creamy, nutty woodsy flavor but the pasta was cooked perfectly) and if I wasn’t intimidated by the huge bowl I probably would’ve have finished it. Next time I will probably try something else the concept of the truck is awesome the people are friendly and the menu looks super delicious.

So glad I finally got to try The Loaded Bowl! I asked the woman working which dish she recommended and I got the comfort bowl. It reminded me of a meatless meatloaf with a bit of a sweet tangy flavor. I really enjoyed the pasta side and the sautéed spinach with squash and zucchini. I would definitely go back because these are great options for everyone, including meat eaters. I didn’t miss having meat in the meal at all. Well worth the money!

I can’t say enough good things about TLB. I have even declared myself a superfan — driving further to get some of what they’re serving than just about any other restaurant. I am not a vegan, but cannot have dairy. The day I discovered TLB and their macaroni and cheese, I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing. Even my omnivore husband will gladly go along to get the vegan goodness. He loves the lasagna and French toast bowls, but we have yet to try something we didn’t like.

The Loaded Bowl doesn’t suck. There, I said it. If you’ve hesitated because it sounds too good to be true, too healthy to taste good, suspend your disbelief and pony up some cash. The Loaded Bowl serves exactly what it should: nourishing, filling, sustainable food(and Blue Sky sodas!). My kids love the Cashew Mac and Cheese(praise Buddha!). I’ve really enjoyed the Layered Enchiladas and Loaded Bowl-rito. This has become one of my favorite food trucks in a city blessed with good food trucks. Fortunately, I think more and more people are getting the message that this truck turns out worthy food: whenever I see the Loaded Bowl, I tend to see a line. It’s worth the wait.(Though if Urban Agrarian schedules a monthly«Sustainable Sunday Brunch», you might find a smaller, more intimate community crowd :)) There’s a demand for food like this– vegan, gluten-free(select dishes), organic/GMO free, locally sourced, seasonally sourced, compostable, and SATISFYING– in OKC, and I’m glad to see The Loaded Bowl serving this demand. Namaste.

I first heard about the Loaded Bowl a week ago today on the news. they were talking about the H&8th Street food truck gathering. We didn’t make it to that because it was too cold and windy but we were delighted to find them again at last weekend’s OpenStreetsOKC festival and give them a try. Wow, we expected them to be good but we really had no idea just how good. I had the layered enchiladas and my husband had their gardener’s pie. Both were just out of this world good. I was disappointed when it was gone and seriously thought about ordering a second bowl! :) I found out later they actually sold out during the festival so that’s cool. I had to go to Norman yesterday to check out a hotel for a meeting we have coming up and I was delighted to find the Loaded Bowl was in Norman and open for lunch! The friends I was with and I stopped by to get our lunch there and we were so glad we did. I thought about getting something else but the enchiladas were so yummy, I just had to do that one more time. I can’t wait to find them again soon. If I’m ever close enough to where they are, I will do everything I can do go by eat there. So happy that Oklahoma has a vegan food truck like this… that’s just awesome. Plus, everyone on the truck was so nice! Can’t wait to go again! :)

The Loaded Bowl is perfect. Even my non-vegan fiancé LOVES the lasagna(aka The Garfield), and I do as well! One of the few vegan dishes I’ve ever tried in which the tofu is actually enjoyable. Really yummy dish. I’ve tried all of their bowls by now and they were all good — like many, lasagna was my fave. But, the stacked enchiladas and lentil loaf + mac n cheese were quite nice as well. Price is reasonable for the quality ingredients. I’m very thankful for the uprising of vegan options in OKC. Be sure to keep an eye out for The Loaded Bowl! They post their location on Facebook — seems to be mostly during early afternoon, but occasionally later, too!

The loaded bowl is organic, vegan punched with flavor. Whenever I see this food truck I will make a u turn. I like that the bowls of food are really loaded with savory food. They also have organic soda as well. I tried the chorizo enchiladas with grilled zucchini & it was awesome.

I am a vegan, and am always on the lookout for more options in the OKC area. I have had the down home bowl on two different occasions. The first time I had their Mac and cheese, I thought that surely this had milk in it, but it was so tasty I just didn’t want to know if it did. My family is sold on the veggie lasagna. I will be back… many many times.

I finally got to try the Loaded Bowl at H&8th the other night after hearing many good things and wanting to try it for a while. I ordered the Down Home Bowl upon recommendation from the woman taking my order and it did not disappoint. The Down Home Bowl consists of lentil loaf, greens and cashew mac and cheese for $ 8. The lentil loaf was good, but it wasn’t hot. However, the greens were amazing and I really enjoyed the cashew mac and cheese. It saddened me a little bit to watch people walk up to the truck and immediately walk away when they saw it was vegan because the food is really great. I look forward to trying something else ASAP and am so happy to have a truck like this in OKC!

A vegan food truck? In Oklahoma City? YES! I had never eaten from a food truck before(partly because there just aren’t a lot around where I hang out and partly because eating outside/in my car is not my thing), but when I found out that the Loaded Bowl was going to be around the city, I hunted them down. The food is delicious. I love the cashew mac and cheese and the lentil loaf in the Down Home Bowl. My partner is a huge fan of the BBQ Rice Bowl. Even my picky children will eat this food, and that is really something.

Today was our second Loaded Bowl visit and both have been phenomenal. As a vegan, finding tasty comfort food can be challenging. The Loaded Bowl fills a big need. In our three visits, we have had The Down Home Bowl, The Garfield, and The BBQ rice bowl. So far, two items have really stood out. First is the lasagna in The Garfield. This is by far the best lasagna I’ve ever had. Next it the cashew cheese macaroni. Non-vegans will be skeptical of this, but trust me, it is better than any cow’s milk macaroni you’ve ever eaten. Everything we have tried has been wonderful. I highly encourage anyone, herbivore or omnivore, to track them down and enjoy.

What a great addition to the lineup of food trucks in OKC! This is a vegan food truck and some items are gluten-free too. Don’t let«vegan» scare you. I am not vegan or even vegetarian but I do enjoy eating healthy food that tastes delicious. The Loaded Bowl allows me to do that. My first time I tried The Garfield, vegan lasagna with garlic greens & herb bread. It was wonderful! Today was my second time and I wanted to try something else. They recommended The Down Home Bowl. I was pleasantly surprised how good the lentil loaf with savory sauce was — nice flavors. I had heard that the creamy cashew Mac & Cheese was wonderful & that was the truth! I am looking forward to trying their other options too. Be adventurous & try The Loaded Bowl!
