U-Haul Moving & Storage of Crossroads

This was one of the worst experiences of my life.
I bought and had a trailer hitch installed, and rented a 12×6 trailer to pull from Oklahoma City to Bakersfield, California. I let the guys here know that I had no experience with doing this.
The company installed my hitch, and set the trailer up for me. I thought the chains and everything seemed kind of low before I even had anything packed into the trailer, but with my inexperience, I assumed they were the experts and had set me up correctly.
We had to stop twice for roadside assistance, and then also stop in Flagstaff to have chains replaced and the hitch flipped over. I was the only driver with a carload; 2 kids, a grandma, and 3 dogs, it was not safe at all. I was a nervous wreck until things were fixed in Flagstaff.
When I called to complain afterwards they offered me $ 30 back of the $ 800 we spent. I said no thank you, I felt like our lives were actually in danger from the carelessness and lack of attention of the workers at this OKC branch. Almost as disappointed in their customer service afterwards as I was in the initial set up.
