Embassy Suites

Beautiful hotel! Modern design and décor. Clean and well maintained (still a new hotel). Loved the spacious 2 room suites. Comfy beds and pillows. Evening reception was great, although we got there at 630 and they were already running low on most of the snacks. There were no plates or cups out, we had to ask for those. Lots of dirty tables around that needed to be bussed, but maybe they were short staffed. The bartender was friendly but literally ate a cracker with cheese dip while standing right behind the bar and then proceeded to make my drink without washing his hands… so…ewh. But seeing as how I’m still rating the hotel 5 stars, it wasn’t a very big blip on my meter. We enjoyed the J BAR very much. The pool was nice, we went around 900ish because it was packed with kids up until then. My husband used the exercise room and had no complaints! Breakfast was FABULOUS! Delicious with so many options. This time a sweet woman was constantly clearing tables. We had a great stay. We will hopefully be back, and this time hope the rooftop terrace is open, we were looking forward to that!

Going with 4 stars here. Took one away for location. Stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is only a few months old, still has that new hotel smell. Lobby was bright, staff friendly, great bar right off the lobby. Room was spacious, clean and quite. Can’t beat a free breakfast and happy hour.

When I walked in to the hotel, I literally felt like I was in a luxury hotel! The design and feel of the lobby area made me feel welcome, comfortable and over the top! The ladies at the check in desk were extremely friendly and excited about this newly opened hotel. As I made my way to my room, I noticed all of the luxury design — carpet, lighting, etc. Beautiful. My room was spacious, pleasing to the eye and the furniture was comfortable and accommodating. Honestly, I didn’t want to get up from the living area!
I couldn’t believe it when I woke up the next morning, I realized for the first time in a long time in a hotel setting, the room was extremely quiet and I had an amazing night’s rest! Check out was a breeze and the whole experience was a WOW!!!
I actually can’t wait for my next visit — I know for sure where I will be staying!
Thank you Embassy Suites in Olathe for making me feel at home! The best part about leaving is knowing I will be back soon!

This Embassy Suites just opened its doors on December 28, 2015. So it is very new and clean. It is not like the other Embassy’s where they have two separate rooms, like we are used to. This hotel has a convention center attached to it which will be a plus for businesses and I’m assuming banquet facilities as well. As for check-​in, the front desk was very polite and knowledgeable. When I asked them why a news crew was here they told me about an awards ceremony going on for some local students whom participated and won some awards for their projects on Martin Luther King.
This new hotel is right off of K10 highway and very close to I-​435.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel as of this stay. I have yet to try their managers complimentary reception that starts in about an hour or their complimentary breakfast buffet. I will update as I try it all out. I don’t know how to attach newer reviews to older ones, so please bare with me.
