As a beer guy this place is one of my last resort places if I am having trouble finding a newly released/rare brew. They are a little bit pricey and the selection is ok. Service is usually crappy but I know what I am looking for before I go here so not an issue.

Prices are compatible and I can always find what I need. However one night I was checking out and the lady ringing me up was clearly drunk. I was not the only one who noticed this and I was almost overcharged for the wrong item. The apparent management on duty seemed to be oblivious to the situation. Good store but I will be taking my business elsewhere

Great selection, especially for a guy from Washington state; I wish distribution was better from home. The staff is very knowledgeable, thankfully, when it comes to the inventory, especially the out of state micro brews. It was fun also to get an education on local liquor laws. They’ll definitely get my recommendation for anyone I know who comes this way.

I have been going here for a few years now and aside from the convenience of the location and competitive prices, it’s the friendly service that has me coming back. Great selections of beer, tastings of new products(yes I have even bought some of the samples!) and a large array of liquor. You mix all of these, and why wouldn’t you come here. Fantastic place!

I work near this store and have been there multiple times. However, after my last experience, I will never go back. Keystone Light is having their annual hunting season packaging where if you find an orange can in one of their cases, you can win prizes. It’s rare to find an orange can, but occasionally you can see one through the holes in the top of the box where the handle is. This store had maybe 10 boxes stacked up and I unstacked each one to peak trough the handle holes for an orange can. Mid-way through my unstacking, a male employee came back to ask if I needed help. I had to explain to him about Keystone’s orange can thing(apparently not very knowledgeable about his products), and then he helped me unstack some of them. Then, with him standing there, I ran across a box that had been ripped open. I commented on it, moved it out of the way, and continued searching. I didn’t see a can, so I started stacking them back up and the employee left to go back up front. I grabbed a case of Keystone(because I still wanted some beer!) and headed up to the front to pay. As I walked up there, the male employee and a blonde female employee were huddled together laughing loudly and I heard her say«You can’t pull out an orange can.» When they saw me, the male employee couldn’t meet my eyes and shuffled away. All the customers near the front were staring at me, and the female practically shouts again in my direction, «You can’t PULLOUT an orange can!» I was mortified. That wasn’t what I was doing. I wasn’t going to pull a can out of a case, and I’m pretty sure it’s not illegal to peer through the top of the handle holes… I should have left without buying anything, but I was too embarrassed to do anything else that would draw attention to me. The male employee was a liar if he told her I was doing that, and the female employee needlessly and incorrectly shamed me. I’ll never go back. They’re just too rude.

We come here often due to its convenient location and awesome staff. They’re always so friendly and helpful. I think the liquor selection is great as well as a nice variety of wines. Often I see a booth set up for samples from specific liquor companies for promotion. I mean, who doesn’t love free samples?! But as far as price goes, I’m not sure how this store stacks up against others(obviously not enough for me to notice). I can guarantee you’ll have a pleasant experience though!

Charging $ 50/bottle for a rare beer that has a $ 20MSRP and that I paid $ 15 for earlier in the same day at another store. Who doesn’t love a good price gouge?

King’s is a very friendly, well stocked liquor store in a part of town that is lacking in quality liquor stores. They have a well thought out beer selection that covers even the biggest beer connoisseur’s needs. The best thing about King’s though is the friendliness of the employees and owner. Maybe I’m buying good beers(okay, I am buying good beers) but I almost always have a conversation about what I’m buying with the clerk ringing me up. They enjoy talking about beer which I enjoy. Further revealing my bias for King’s, the owner and I share a love for Lagunitas brews, which I think everyone should love.
