Olathe Women’s Center always gives me great service whether it’s a phone call or a visit!

Terrible service, and have consistently lost or misplaced my medical records. I had to pay for 2 MRI’s when diagnosed with a disease due to them stating they couldn’t find the first scans records saying I had the disease so they needed to run another MRI before they could treat it. Yet I still got billed for both. I have asked to send records to another hospital. They say they did. I check with other hospital and they have almost no documents at all. I have called and asked to verify that my specific treatment documentation is there and they reply with «We don’t lose any thing our system is very good». After telling them that I work in IT and know that things can get lost though unlikely, I would really like to verify it. They said that they can’t verify it but if I want to release the records to someone else I can have them send a fax. Unacceptable.

I took my son here for an emergency. I won’t go into detail about his medical problem but let me just say that I could have taken him to the Taco Bell across the street and received better medical care than he received here. We went in the middle of the night. There were no other patients in the waiting room and we still had to wait. The triage nurse obviously hates her job and the doctor was completely useless. Useless. Wound up taking my son to another hospital where he was treated properly. If you have the option to go anywhere else in a medical emergency, I would take it. Seriously.

This is a review of the Emergency Room. I ended up in here last weekend. I drove myself to this ER because it’s near my house and because my doctor works out of this location.
I walked in on a Friday morning and received care right away. There were only a handful of people in the waiting room, not sure if they were actually patients or waiting on someone. A nurse did a quick overview to get my basic info and confirm my situation. Then I was sent back to one of the rooms.
My husband had to meet me there and they guided him right to my room. The whole visit took about 3 hours, but it wasn’t because service was slow. I just needed several tests and treatments.
I was actually treated by a PA and several nurses. They were friendly and informative. I hate needles. They were sensitive and as gentle as possible.
The check out process was easy, just walked to the office on our way out and paid our copay. I’m sure there will be other bills to come. Overall we were satisfied with the level of care.

Emergency room visit was interesting to say the least. I had an injury that no one was concerned about and NO ONE was in a hurry to help me or other patients. Will choose another place for medical services next time.
