Westlake Ace Hardware

My 7year old son and I went to this store and he had to use the bathroom. When we got to the bathroom a worker started yelling at us and threatened we. I will never go back to this store.

I usually love the smaller hardware stores, especially when I am trying to get in and out as quickly as possible. However, I’m not a big fan of these Westlake Ace.
They don’t seem to have quite as good of a selection as other Westlake’s, but I could have just been missing stuff. Where it is lacking, compared to other Westlake’s, is the service. Usually, I am bombarded by service as soon as I walk in to any Westlake’s, but not here. It seemed most of the people working when I went were high school kids, and they lacked a real desire to approach the customer, instead just taking care of the tasks assigned. I wandered the store trying to find what I wanted, and when I did, they only had one version of it, and I wasn’t satisfied. So, I left empty handed.
I’ll check out other Westlake and other Ace locations, but despite this being the closest one to my house, I’m disappointed to say I’ll probably steer clear of it.

Great customer service at this location. The store is clean and organized and the people are friendly.
I had to run in for work and get 6 keys made. The clerk made the keys within a few minutes and then helped me find some plumping items we needed and new dolly tires.
I also needed some flowers to plant in front of the office. Where I was able to get some 50% off.
I went up front to ring out and the clerk asked if I needed anything else to go with the items I had and suggested plant food. She was right I had forgotten the miracle grow sticks and she had some one run and get them for me.
