Giusseppe’s Pizza & Fine Italian Food

My fiend and I stopped in here for lunch and had 2 items off their CLEAN EATING Menu, which were The Spartan (rib-​eye steak with broccoli and steamed brown rice w/​garlic sauce) and The Burger, which is homemade turkey parties and comes with mashed sweet potato. These dishes were extremely tasty! We will be back often and soon.

I reside in Franklin Lakes, NJ about 1 hrs. Drive from Old Bridge.
Had a business meeting to attend this evening but wanted to find a good «local» Italian Restaurant to grab a quick dinner at and boy, am I pleasantly surprised!
Great staff, service, home cooked food and pricing are hard to find these days in New Jersey!
I definitely recommend Giuseppe’s for anyone who is looking for a «low key» environment for good food in Central or Northern New Jersey

I wrote a review last year about Giuseppe’s being a great Italian restaurant, however this year the food has been terrible the last few times. Last month we ordered a pizza and it was sloppy. Cheese was running off the pie. Gave the benefit of the doubt and tried them again last night. Ordered two wraps and they also were terrible. We threw them out. Meat smelled funky. There seems to be no controlled management there. Just a bunch of teenagers running the place. Owner, I suggest you get your act together because I will not be returning until things change. Krispy Pizza is going to be my go-​to now, even though they are more expensive, the quality of food is much better.

I usually order from here when I’m looking to satisfy my need for Italian food that I can bring home. Their chicken parm sandwich is really delicious and a perfect blend of cheese and sauce. I love their garlic knots and it helps when you use the Unilocal app to get them free when you purchase $ 10 or more and pick up. Recently I’ve been trying their San Remo sandwich and adding arugula in there for a real Italian sandwich feel and it’s real delicious with the fresh mozzarella. They even let me try their dessert pizza with Nutella and canoli cream and it’s delicious if you’re looking for something sweet after a nice Italian meal. Overall I love coming to Giuseppe’s and the people are really friendly behind the counter. I will keep coming back as long as I live in the area.

Great pizza!!! What distinguishes the pizza for me is the crust. Their crust is very light/​fluffy and tastes really fresh. Just the right amount of crispiness. Very nice waitress, and the location is perfect because Rita’s Italian Ice is RIGHT THERE in the same strip mall. I haven’t eaten anything other than cheese pizza here, will need to try some more stuff on the menu. They have a pretty extensive menu so I will be back to eat more and will amend my review accordingly!

I have ordered from here maybe 4 – 5 times in the past (for take out), but my last experience was pretty terrible. I’m not normally one to write a negative review, but I have to. I ordered two plain slices & two Sicilian slices to go. The two plain slices were so under-​cooked. We threw them into the oven when I got home & it took another 10 – 15 min. just to get them to the point that they were edible. They had no Sicilian slices available & offered to make a fresh pie if I wait 15 min. for it to cook, which I thought was pretty nice of them. However, when I got home the Sicilian pieces were also extremely under-​cooked, cheese melting everywhere (it didn’t even look like a slice of pizza), and the counter person threw them into a box so quickly that the entire bottom of both slices was stuck to the parchment paper. They were not edible. I was extremely disappointed. Will be going to Krispy Pizza down the road from now on.

Best pizza and Veal Vittoria in NJ. Great friendly staff and fast service. Always on my NJ visit list when visting family. You dont get food like this in California!

This place is amazing. Everything that I have ordered from here has been crazy good. The staff is friendly. Friday night I ordered a clam pie, it’s not on the menu but it should be. Simply amazing… Better than any NY pie! Amazing, to find this in Jersey!

Had dinner here. This is a strip pizza place with several tables and a nice dinner menu. Dinners come with a small salad, lettuce, onion and olives with dressing on the side. We started with the garlic knots, a nice serving with tomato sauce for dipping. Lasagna was a cheese lasagna. They have a meat lasagna but I wasn’t specific and was served the cheese. It was plentiful and tasty. Tony’s Pasta was chicken, sun dried tomatoes and mushrooms. Wanted a marinara sauce instead of garlic and oil. No problem. Service was pleasant and friendly. Prices were very reasonable.
They have a very busy take out and delivery business.

A small slice with a small amount of cheese. Bottom is thin & tasty enough, but the crust at the end is very doughy. Sauce is’nt offensively sweet, but it is sweet. Store is spotless & staff is very friendly. If you like sweet sauce, are in the area, you may want to give this place a try, just make sure you order your slice with extra cheese.

Came to pick up my niece and got hungry! She’s 14, and pizza is her food pyramid, so when she recommended this spot, I had to listen and order. Very pleased! I ordered for pick up and given a 20 minute wait period. The pizza was still nice and hot, and it was YUMMY! I mean you can’t go wrong with pizza, but this wasn’t just mehhhh pizza, it was super good pizza. The garlic knots were okay, not enough garlic, but good. Definitely want to try some pasta next time I come over.

We have ordered plenty of times from here and it has always exceeded our expectations. From the large pizzas, to the hot sandwiches and calamari appetizer, everything is delicious. We always order delivery which is convenient for us since we work late. They keep your info and address handy in their system so you don’t have to repeat yourself if you’re a returning customer which is nice.
The wait time does vary but it’s not a big deal. We have never gotten upset for waiting too long for our food to arrive.
We usually order the Hawaiian pizza. It’s large and usually fills us up if we eat two pieces each. I am a fan of their meatball sub and my bf prefers their cheesesteaks. Never been disappointed with the food or service. Great go to for a fast and simple dinner idea.

Pizza was mediocre at best! Crust had little flavor and not a lot of cheese. Just unimpressive.
Sigh…not a lot of good pizza in the Old Bridge area but I’ll continue to try to find a decent place!

Wasn’t a memorable pizza but may order from here again. Still looking for the best pizza in Old Bridge.

Just ordered pizzas on jan 10^th for my birthday party and the service and pizza were not short of excellent. Emily took my order and was so kind and sweet. The pizza arrived on time for my party and was delicious. The veggie pizza vegetables were amazing and the sauce and chicken on the chicken parm pizza was perfect. Thank you for making my birthday special

On a busy Friday night have no fear! Pizza was done on time and what’s amazing is that it gets better every time!!! Kids just love the mozzarella sticks too! Fast and friendly and delicious! Thanks for making Friday night so easy!

Small Pizza Restaurant. Great Pizza. Grandma is the way to go. Great for kids. It’s in a little strip mall. Great customer service. Prices are reasonable. I love how also in the same place there is a rita Italian ice. So once your done with your meal you can grab an ice cold treat. With the rita in this location you can actually call up when they open to check what flavors they have and if there is something that you like you can ask them to make it.

The food was fantastic!!! The waitress was so sweet, she sat my family and I down when we walked in and served us our drinks, and bread immediately.
The appetizers came out promptly and then when we finished that our dinner meals followed.
When you go you MUST try the Brooklyn style thin crust pizza.
Over all it was great and I look back to returning very soon.

I came here due to the delivery of a flyer with coupons. Off the recommendations of Unilocal,I got the salad with wild greens, goat cheese, Italian dressing, and breaded calamari with octopus. It was unexpected to get a delicious salad at a pizzeria.
Otherwise, we ordered calzones and the Brooklyn-​style pizza with mushroom. I grossly underestimated the size of the pies. We ended up coming home with plenty of leftovers :)
On the upside, the Brooklyn style pizza was thin crusted and DELICIOUS. It had a mixture of provolone and fresh mozzarella cheese. The square shaped pie comes in a standard 10″ fit to serve a family of 4 easily. The taste isn’t your de-​frosted DiGiornos pizza that I have come to expect from American pizzerias. On the downside, the calzones weren’t anything to brag about. The filling with mozzarella and ricotta cheese just dripped out of the crust. Not a chef, but it was missing something.
From checking in on Unilocal,they honored the FREE GARLIC KNOTS coupon. Kids just go crazy for those!
Overall, I am really pleased with the experience. I would not hesitate to go back. And think that this establishment gives neighboring pizzerias a run-​for-​their money. Atmosphere is cute with a homey feel. The staff are super friendly. But they seem rushed. Took a while to get the check.
