Never showed up at my mother-in-law’s house and didn’t bother calling to let her know. Obnoxious CSRs on the phone and dispatcher is an ass.

We contacted Roto-Rooter after developing a blocked pipe. When they arrived they determined the problem and then quoted us a price of $ 409 to fix it. We suggested to them that we would look else where. We called another plumbing firm(AJ Perri) who quoted us a price of $ 149. Buyer Beware!

We had toilet paper coming out of a pipe on the lawn so I called Roto-Rooter they came out the same day. The technician said that the pipe was missing the lid but that even so the papers shouldn’t be coming out. He said that there must be a blockage and that it needed to be flushed. It was close to $ 1,000. I had previously had an issue with what they said was a different pipe leading to this sewer pipe and I paid around the same price. It came with a DVD video showing what the blockage was and how they flushed. So, this time I asked will I get a DVD like the last time… he says I don’t have a camera with me but you still have to pay and I’ll get someone else to come out and do that for you at no additional charge. I had complete trust at this point. The next technician comes out a couple of days later and does a video. He says the pipe has build up and gives me as estimate of over $ 6,000.00. So, I said when can I have a copy of the DVD. He says no you can’t have it. I said thats not what was discussed. He said he had to check with his manager. I requested a call back from his manager. I never got a call back and when I called back the manager himself said that the last time me getting a video DVD was an error. And that this time I would have to pay extra for it. Then he says who’s to say you won’t go and get the job done with someone else with the DVD. So, bottom line just be sure you get everything in writing.
