I’ve been digesting Old Chatham cheese for at least five years now and my gut has never been happier. The camembert cheese is great but the blue cheese made at Old Chatham takes the cake. It has a great texture with wonderful piquant after-taste. One of the cheese making gurus, Todd Pontius, gave a tour to explain how Old Chatham achieves such brillant cheese. The Ewe’s Blue Wedge is a must have for any connoisseur or cheese monger!

Love it! I grew up in this area, although this place did not exist then. I actually discovered this cheese at our local grocery store(almost 3 hours away). Every time we go to the area to visit, we stop in and grab some cheese. The Camembert is wonderful. I have been told they used to have a restaurant and do tours, etc… That no longer goes on but you can wander around. They allow you to walk around and see the sheep and you can also see in where the cheese is made as there are large windows on one area of the building. It is super easy to grab some cheese at great prices! They have a self serve cooler with prices posted with an an honor system. Let me tell you that the prices are super compared to the grocery stores! I pay about 25% of what the local store is charging. We just went a few weeks ago and the cooler did not have the Camembert. I went up to the office and they walked me right back to the building where it was stored and got me what I wanted. The woman was very friendly and personable. I served some at home as we had people over the next day and everyone loved the Camembert!
