This place is awesome! I went there over the weekend and they had my favorite flavor butter pecan… as a yogurt! I am trying to lose a few pounds so I was presently surprised. The place is all brand new and looks great!!!

I’ve been coming here for years and am never disappointed. You get a lot for the price you pay and the staff is always friendly. When it comes to ice cream, I’m happy as long as my boys are happy and Picc’s always puts a smile on their faces.

Manager worked with me to accommodate a large group and were ready for us when we arrived. The facilities were very clean. There were lots of flavors to choose from at reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend this shop.

I’ve been going to Jitty Joes for years while visiting family in the area. We haven’t visited in some years, so when we pulled up, I was skeptical. However, I was not disappointed. You still get a very good amount of ice cream for a very reasonable price. We fed a family of four for less than $ 12. (In Atlanta it would cost us $ 9 for two of us.) Ice cream was very good and the staff was very friendly. Even under the new management, this place can’t be beat.

I was a big Jitty Joe’s fan, so I figured all would be the same at the new ownership. I ordered my usual double scoop cone. The ice cream wasn’t fresh. It was old, and had what I thought to be freezer burn from being left uncovered in the freezer too long. Not cool.

My boyfriend and I stopped by thinking we’d get some awesome Jitty Joe’s ice cream, only to realize that it’s been replaced by Picc’s. We decided to try it anyway. The service was super friendly, and the prices were okay for the amount of ice cream you get, but I really can’t say I enjoyed my cone. I got a vanilla soft serve and it tasted like frozen sugar water… a far cry from other great soft serve around the area (see: curly cream, blue ribbon, etc.). I don’t think I’d go out of my way for it again.
