Absolutely LOVE this place!!! We are a large finance office in Greenwich and we frequently host breakfasts at the office. I never have to worry about my order with this deli. Robert(the owner) is an absolute delight to work with. He is very accommodating and understanding that we have a budget yet we need quality food. Food is always on time and early, always fresh and they are wonderful about accommodating last minute orders for us. We usually get an assortment of bagels, muffins fresh fruit and everything disappears off the platters in minutes. Can’t go wrong with this place!

Not a fan. I’ve ordered food via Seamless and carry out. Maybe I’m just a bagel snob, but neither their bagels nor their cream cheese are anything more than pedestrian.

This place is easy to find with parking provided behind the building. It is pricey(as to be expected in Greenwich) but the food is worth the $ 10 price tag for a bagel with lox and a cup of coffee. I have been here twice and would give this place 4 or 5 stars but the employees here are not the greatest– not rude but not kind or friendly, just sterile and robotic.

Best bagels in town. Multigrain everything with veggie cream cheese is my favorite. There’s a Dublin donuts across the street if you want coffee to go with it

Great bagel place! Bagels are always fresh! The staff is nice and tries to accommodate long lines as quickly as possible. The only negative is some of the«entitled» clientele that frequents the place bit that is certainly not the owner’s fault. If you’re looking for a good bagel in Southern Fairfield County, definitely check these people out!

The bagels are good but the service is awful. I have been here several times and the people working are always rude and make me feel defensive like asking for it toasted is a big deal. I look around and see other people working being really nice to customers, so maybe I keep gravitation towards the person in a bad mood that day. But they really need to step up the smiles and positive attitude. I don’t want a person bringing me down as I order breakfast!

Came here today to get some bagel sandwiches today on the way to the beach. I got a tuna salad on whole wheat and my friend ordered a melt but asked for no bacon. The food took a while to cook. I realize we got a hot order and others who came in after we’re getting simpler things, but not a good feeling to watch so many come in and out with our food as we waited. We got to beach, pulled our food out and realized that her sandwich had bacon! She couldn’t eat it and ended up just picking at the bagel…$ 8 gone to waste. You’d think a bagel place would be sensitive to people trying to keep kosher… As for my tuna melt, it was fine. Honey whole wheat was a weird choice to put the sandwich on, but that one’s on me.

This was my first time purchasing and eating a sandwich from here. I ordered a ham, cheese and egg sandwich on a bagel. I got my sandwich probably about 10 minutes after I ordered it which was awesome because I was starving. The sandwich was delicious. Everything tasted fresh. It was a great portion so I was very satisfied after. The only thing that they need to fix is their ordering process. No one seemed to know where to go and there were no signs to indicate where to order and pay. Besides that, can’t complain.

Not only is everything fresh and healthy but these folks are outstanding members of the community. At every weather crisis they manage to be open and they can’t do enough for the firefighters next door. Their bagels, spreads, salad and sandwiches are outstanding. The service is polite and very family friendly. You must support a business that gives so much back to its neighbors. .the chains never do. Thank you again Robert for taking such good care of your local firefighters.

This is one hoppin/establishment on Saturday morning! Fresh bagels with lots of toppings choices, eggs, bacon and coolers to pull anything form Yoo-hoo and orange juice. Service was a prompt, prices are high, the place is teeming with kids — exactly hat one would expect on a Saturday in Greenwich. There a re few family style tables inside, and a counter along the window. Do not expect a seat on Sat or Sunday morning!

Typically on Sunday morning my family and l do bagels. We’re from Stamford and frequent the same spot which we always enjoy. Today the line was down the sidewalk so I decided to venture out to Uppercrust which I heard about from a relative. The bagels are sub par as well as the cream cheese. Don’t get me wrong, they’re better than an average donut shop but for $ 26 for a dozen w 2 cream cheeses these things better have been made by Angels, which they weren’t. Not a bad spot but IMO not the best bagel around.

Stayed with a friend in OG for a week. My first experience there was good. The bagel I had was really good, I’ll admit and I grew up with Brooklyn bagels. I had it with whitefish salad which was one of the best I’ve had, bits of fish and not salty. Second time I went with a few less dollars in my pocket. I wanted prices. They do not post ANY prices on their boards. Yeah, OG is that rich. So, feeling rather awkward, after waiting 15 minutes in line, I asked the sad server how much a small whitefish was. She did not know the price per pound and said she’d have to weigh it. I peeked behind the counter(fairly easy to do) and watched as three ungloved servers dug into a large bucket of white fish salad with small spoons. Did I mentioned ungloved? They seem to have fun nudging each other and one dropped a spoon in there only to retrieve it quickly with an ungloved hand maybe thinking no one would notice or care. Well, I cared and just walked out before getting a price. Wonder what they did with the germy whitefish. They wear a glove only on one hand. Where’s the logic?

The bagels here are awesome. Stopped by en route to NYC and enjoyed the bagel belly — huge portion which left plenty for lunch! Very tasty and great and friendly service

The best bagels between Boston and NYC. I’ve tried a number of other shops in Stamford, Darien and Norwalk, none compare to Upper Crust. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, what every bagel should be. The wait on the weekend can be a hassle and saying that the seating is limited is an understatement, but all acceptable unless you are willing to drive 40 minutes into the City.

My boyfriend and I decided to come check out this bagel place since we have been desperately trying to find an amazing bagel place since he moved to Rye in July. He ordered the Whole Wheat bagel scooped and toasted with veggie cream cheese which was pretty good! However, I got egg and cheese on a toasted and scooped pumpernickel which was not good at all. Maybe it’s because I was born in Queens an live in Long Island, but I think Yellow American cheese is essential to a delicious egg and cheese sandwich. I am not a fan of the White Cheese. The eggs were ok but nothing to rave about. I liked the coffee.

Whenever we stay around Stamford/Norwalk, we always make it a point to go here for our super-awesome breakfast of ‘The Veggie’ bagel sandwich. It comes with a side of pickle and coleslaw which is super-awesome too!

My favourite place for breakfast in Greenwich, out of the oven bagels smothered in too much cream cheese, what more could you ask for? Whenever I came home from college this would be my first and last meal before heading back to Europe. Whatever about New York bagels, these have always been my favourites.

Upper Crust? They aren’t kidding over here. I guess they feel they don’t need to go the extra mile because of a Greenwich location. This place does the bare minimum without any frills. The bagels here were decent, soft, and fluffy but they were not very warm. Freshness is not their forte, I assume. The cream cheese selection was pretty limited. I guess this is what happens when you leave NY in search of bagels. A fool’s errand. The young lady at the counter wanted to be anywhere but working here. On the plus side, they had bathrooms, plenty of tables, and parking in the rear. One has to assume that there are better bagel places in CT but it’s remarkable how dramatic the drop-off is once you cross the border.

I have a friend from college who lived around the corner from this place, and I have the best memories of stopping in for these bagels when I visited her. They’re fresh, good quality, and as I remember, still a little crispy in the morning. I stopped in when I was in the area one afternoon last week and picked up a baker’s dozen because I hadn’t had these in so long. They were still good, though they didn’t have that crunch — that slight crunch without even having to toast it — that I remembered. Great flavors — I picked up plain, sourdough, salt, honey wheat, blueberry, and more — and really good cream cheese. It’s whipped, but it has a little more stick to it. Upper Crust is really more like a 4 ½ star place. Five stars as I remember it(from getting crispy bagels first thing in the morning) and four for my last visit, where I went a little later in the day.

I am not a big bagel person but others who are do appreciate and enjoy the bagels here. The sandwiches are good and I love to get one to go and take it to Tod’s Point to sit on the beach and enjoy the solitude. It is clean and neat. It has a very nice selection and is always friendly. Every place in life can’t be five stars but this one is a sturdy and reliable three. The school kids LOVE this place.
