Great ambience, excellent food!
The omelette was well-​balanced, with just the right amount of meat and cheese. But most surprising of all, the fries were not greasy at all!

Stopped for lunch today and ordered mushroom burger and kids ordered a simple hamburger. Burgers were amazing! Perfectly cooked and juicy! If you are in the Lassen area, this is a cute little café to stop at for amazing food. Oh and I ordered a choc chip walnut cookie and it was heavenly !!

My family (husband, wife and two kids 5 & 2) have eaten at this place several times now. I have nothing but good to say about it. I think the food is very good. I’ve had the Rueben before as well as the pulled pork sandwich. We got hamburgers from this place. Everything is very well cooked and satisfying. I think the service is awesome. The last time We ate their individual I would assume is the owner gave my kids cookies for free. I would say the only downside is the size of the place. There’s indoor and outdoor seating but both locations are slightly small. To me though, that’s not a problem. Because the food and the service outweigh that by a lot.

We are on the way back to Lessson national park. Trying to find any restaurant for dinner. JJ café seems the only one we can find. We are worried in the beginning. However, it didn’t disappoint us. The hot sandwich is amazing. I like its crunchy texture and smoky beef. The food is really good. When u stop by here, give it a try. It won’t disappoint u.

5 stars for being an oasis of food yumminess! In the middle of nowhere, we stopped for lunch and then drove back for breakfast after staying in Mt. Lassen. Thier bread is homemade, please try the sourdough, it’s amazing! Overall a really good stop for some homemade cooking, staff was friendly too!

Good food. Bbq pulled pork smoked right out back. Great smoke with vinegar based sauce. Did not care for the Cole slaw, loved the home made fries. Ruben was good. Good quality pastrami. Good place to stop along the road

Off the hook! Local beef cured locally. Wow! We stumbled upon this place on our way from Lassen to parts north. We shared the pastrami which I regret because it was way too good to share. I wish I would have tried a burger. Best pastrami I’ve ever had. Well maybe tied with Carnegie deli in NY cause I been there. Different. At JJs they have homemade rye bread. Seriously off the hook. Enjoy!
