Old Tappan Pizza

Went here one night and I am never coming back. The soup was like water and the calzone was not hot. Far better choices are to be had.

Should have no stars. Food is atrocious too many decent pizza places in the area. Even the local townspeople avoid this place. Should have closed years ago

Anytime I go in I always get exactly what I ordered and its hot. Its good Pizza, good food, and good service. Not quite sure what others are up in arms about.

i ordered a chicken parm with vodka sauce, the tall man with dark hair said he couldnt make it for me «too much work it needs to be a bigger order» 5 mins later he was making vodka sauce for someone else, didnt even bother to ask if i still wanted the sandwich considering he was making the vodka sauce! all it takes is a little bit of sauce! instead told me «too bad it needs to be a bigger order» and i was upset and told him «yeah ok thats just bad service» he told me «i dont care, doesnt matter to me» as i was standing by the credit card machine he walked thru the door 4 times having the door swing and hit me in the knees! not one single sorry. my 7 and 8 year old kids said he was the rudest grumpiest mean man they have ever met! ill never be going here again. the food wasnt even hot, the bread wasnt fully cooked and the prices are ridiculous! horrible experience. thanks for nothing. if they could have ZERO STARS thats what i would give.

Not the best not the worst. I order dinners as I work nearby. Never had a bad experience. Regular slices are a bit greasy and salty. Sicilian slices are great.

Wish I could leave zero stars as one is pushing it
First time ordered got a mild case of

2^nd and last time they were 1.5 hours to deliver and only arrived with half the order but took all my money said they would come back to refund and never did

the food is pretty good but not for the prices. I definitely would not suggest going here unless you want to feel unwanted and uncomfortable.

The pizza here is overpriced and beyond mediocre. The customer service is also horrible to match.
I do everything to avoid this place. Too bad as I live and work in Old Tappan.
Make the drive anywhere else. Don’t be disappointed over and over like I was.

Could not believe price for a slice! Very mediocre flavor. When i asked about pricing i was answered with macho attitude.
So many other better pizza places in the area. Avoid here.

Decent, prices have been going up steadily but thats life. Been going here since I was a freshman in highschool. Good for a Sicilian fix. Heard there are new owners, they need to up there service but with no competition i am sure they dont care. 3 stars.

When they used to be Pizza Factory, the food and service was so much better. But one day I started to notice that the quality of everything became worse. I didn’t even know that the owners changed until I actually walked into the shop one day recently.
First of all I go in to get a slice and there appears to be only one person working there during the dinner rush, the latin guy who helps make the pizzas. And while I was waiting, he didn’t bother to greet me or ask what I wanted. Well he finally says, «sorry, could you wait a minute?». This is after waiting a couple minutes already.
I’m freaking starving, so I say, «Could I just get a slice?»
The man working there says, «Sure, one minute.» But it was clear that he meant for me to wait a minute more before he cuts me a slice.
So I wait another 5 minutes, and all of a sudden like 6 employees come from the back, one of which, I believe is the owner or manager. What the heck were they doing? Smoking a doobie in the back or something?
By now there are like 5 customers, including myself, waiting to be served. And none of the employees are shocked at all that there are people waiting in line. No sense of urgency to take anybody’s order.
I even got skipped, even though I was at the front of the line. I really wanted to yell at these guys. I just want a FRIGGIN SLICE OF PIZZA!!!
All that being said, the slice was just OK. Not worth waiting 10 minutes for though. Other stuff I had there is mediocre as well. It’s as if they’re just trying to rush orders out of the kitchen without paying attention to how everything tastes.
Also, one more piece of advice for you guys… if you order delivery from them, ask the guy on the phone for your total before you hang up. They either have a tough time using a calculator, or they are fleecing unsuspecting customers. I used to order once a week from them for lunch and the totals are almost ALWAYS wrong and the prices seem to change week to week. I hope they know that people are aware of this. The menu prices just don’t match up. I have a feeling the delivery person is playing some games with the checks.
Oh and did I also say that they take over an hour for delivery and forget you altogether sometimes?
SOOOO lucky they are… no competitors for MILES. I’m just ordering from Cousins from now on.

Eat here often, and the food is always great. Try the factory salad and any of the pizzas. The fresh baked bread is also a nice treat.

I can’t believe this place is still in business. Their food has gotten progressively worse since their renaming. their salads are a joke, their prices are too high for the quality of ingredients, their staff is rude and unprofessional, and the highest offense; their pizza is below average. Anyone looking for pizza in this area should probably go down the street to Dino’s or take a trip to South River Vale.

The food is nothing to rave about. It’s good but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend this place to anyone.

Been in River Vale over 12 years, been going to Pizza Factory on and off, mostly off, for those years. Tried it again about 6 months ago, and have been a regular customer ever since. They have a new chef, and the food, and the Sauce, great. With the competition so high in the Valley, they have really shown to stand out.
