The Kibbeh was tasty and the foul medammas was quite good

Great little place with some unique offerings. We had the greek sampler then I had the veggie platter. Both were good size. My friend had fish tacos which he enjoyed. We would go back.

This is my favorite place to eat in town. Great sandwiches and they are huge. Garlic fries are so good, but deadly. The open faced chiclen slouvaki salad will feed you for days. The Egyptian wrap is so delicious that I could eat it every day. They have vegetarian and vegan options. Their hummus is amazing too.

This was my second time at Attards… first review about a year ago… pretty sure I gave either a 4 or a 5. In a years time… I have no idea what happened… the server forgot our order on two items… my steak was like eating a piece of leather and the garlic mashed potatoes was so salty… I could only eat about 3 bites… this is rather disappointing… I have there a different chef… different owners… no idea… but wow… can’t say I’m going back… and that’s unfortunate.

The place was cute and the service was friendly. I ordered my food to go and had the Greek vegetables(served over rice) and replaced the salad with their soup — zucchini curry. I topped it off with coconut sorbet, service in a coconut shell. She ended up giving me 2 for the price of one as they were clearing out their summer inventory. The food was good — just not amazing For a $ 20 dish, I wasn’t all that impressed. The vegetables in the dish, seemed to match the vegetables in the soup.

I’m grateful for something decent to eat along Route 86. That’s about the sum of my food experience here. I’m giving the benefit of the doubt with this review but there was a lot that could have been better. My wife and I ordered the vegetarian appetizer sampler plate and an order of falafel. Some was ok and other parts were below average. The falafel ere small and dry and came out with a pile of stale dry pita and a hummus that wasn’t great. I won’t bother to recount the overpriced platter. The ganoush wasn’t good. I would have ordered a salad but all they have is iceberg lettuce. It has no flavor or nutritional quality at all. I’ve had only one other Mediterranean meal that was as disappointing. I like to support local restaurants and won’t eat franchise food but I hope they’ll step it up here.

Delicious foods, creative options. Lebanese, Greek, Italian, and a few other international delicacies strewn in… Amazingly all done well. Large portions, friendly staff. You won’t be sorry leaving here with a full belly!

Yum! I have been here a few times now and have enjoyed each meal. Last night I tried one of their specials, a shrimp dish with turmeric, coconut milk, cinnamon, curry etc. Great flavor! I just wish they didn’t waste over a pound of rice for this dish, I didn’t even eat ¼ of it. Prior to to that, I tried the Lebanese vegetarian plate and loved it! Tons of great flavors on one plate. Plenty to share. The Greek salad is good, but the dressing is a little off. Too olive-y or salty. Everything else about the salad is great, fresh ingredients, good ratios etc. Of the places I have tried in Olean, this one is my favorite.

Such a great meal! This is the best restaurant in Olean. The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is so friendly and attentive. There aren’t many vegetarian options in Olean and they have some excellent selections. The Lebanese Vegetarian plate was fantastic — and so much food! This has become my go-to spot in Olean! Thank you for the great evening, ladies!

When we’re in the Olean area, we always go to Attard’s. It’s past time that I wrote a review and expressed my appreciation for the place. I’ve seen it busy, but I think it gets neglected compared to Beef and Barrel up the street. Support the local Lebanese community and ensure that variety and local restaurants continue to thrive. The Greek salad is heavenly. It is on the salty side, but I dream about this salad! A small portion is plenty. The entrees are tasty but, I have to be honest, fairly unremarkable. My mom usually gets pasta and it’s what you expect. I’ve had several of the chicken entrees– usually Ethiopian chicken– and they are all similar, same chicken and mushrooms with slight differences. I’ve had Ethiopian food and it doesn’t really resemble it. Maybe they are being careful for American tastes. I wish the bread were freshly baked, too. The gelato!!! That’s the other reason to come here. I ordered the chocolate gelato on a whim and was really surprised. Delicious. The only other problem we had was that on hot days, it’s quite stuffy. The last time we were there it didn’t have A/C. This shouldn’t be a problem most of the year.

Progressive for Olean, not bad. Average for a larger city. Pita hard and old. Good service. Doesn’t understand kibbie though.

Attards is a great gem in Olean. Their menu contains an eclectic mix of cuisine. This week I had Greek Pierogies and they were awesome! Also, their desserts come from Italy. Try the gelato — it is shipped over here on dry ice straight from Italy. It is the best I have tasted in the US.

I can’t believe I’m the first to review this place! One of the only places in Olean where you can get something other than pizza, burgers, or wings. It’s refreshing, and it’s perfect for a date! Each time I’ve gone I’ve been in a group and we’ve split a bunch of different appetizers. Everything was fanastic! The drinks are strong and the waiters are great. I had the Ethiopian chicken the first time I went, and it made me feel like I could breathe fire. Pros: generous portions, good drinks, cozy & clean atmosphere, and the desserts are PHENOMENAL Cons: odd hours… if I’m correct they close in the early evening for a couple hours and then re-open, so make sure you call ahead and see when they’re open!
