It was very underwhelming. I got the pick two with the potato soup and the club sandwich. The sandwich was the smallest thing I’ve ever seen and the soup was in a large bowl. The soup was watery and lacked and real character. The o my thing that was a positive was that it was warm soup on a cold day. The sandwich was ok. It tasted like a Blimpies Sandwich from back in the day. All that for $ 11 with a sweet tea! $ 3 a cup Lipton/Louisiana tea! I was going to go one star but the staff was so friendly and nice. They earned a star simply on their own.

I found the food here good but not great. There are other deli’s around that have far superior offerings. Service was fine but the food was just average.

The service is awful here. My husband went and never got his order and asked for his money back and they said they could not do that. That is not good customer service bed there are way too many other restaurants in the area it have a policy like that.

Have eaten here many times. Food is about what you’d expect for this type of chain: not bad, but not great. I enjoy the Hummus Platter with cucumbers and pita bread. The Cuban is also tasty. The«Soup of the Day» in a bread bowl is usually good. I LOVE that the bread bowl is crispy and flaky… not just tough and chewy like other places.(The contents of that bread bowl are up-for-grabs.) Go on a day when you can get the Crawfish Bisque. Even if you don’t love crawfish, this is one tasty soup! Sweet Pepper’s is somewhere between McAlister’s and Panera, in my book. Better than McAlister’s.(And without the religious music and people trying to raise funds for their cause. That’s a plus for me. Others might like all that.) But Panera has better soups and sandwiches… and pastries. BUT! If you get dessert here, try the Chocolate Eruption. Mmmm, so good. The Key Lime Pie is also a step above average. And I will always praise a restaurant with the foresight to offer Jones Soda! A good Fufu Berry soda makes any meal better. My only gripe is about the service. One person takes your order at the counter. Another introduces him/her self as your server, but you won’t see them again. A third person delivers your food. That drives me crazy! I don’t know who I’m tipping… or who to ask for a refill on my beverage. Or who to complain to on the rare occasion that our order is wrong. Lastly, I like the atmosphere. Very casual… and sometimes I can catch the Cards playing on the TV. Sweet Pepper’s isn’t a 5 star establishment. But for a quick grab-a-sandwich place, it’s about as good as it gets.

This was our first visit since it’s quite new. When walking in it reminded me of McAlisters Deli except the décor was better, bright colors which was appealing to me. You order the same way and get a number to put on your table number holder. The food on the other hand was nothing like McAlisters. It was very expensive for what you get. The sandwiches are small with little meat. I could have made them at home better. I got the house chips which was basically lays potato chips, was hoping for homemade. My husband got the potato salad which he didn’t care for. I decided to taste it and wished I didn’t. Thank goodness I had a chip left to get the taste out of my mouth. It was icky! The pickle on the plate, both our pickles, were icky looking and wouldn’t dare eat. The staff was nice though. This was our first and last visit.
