I’ve lived in Olive Branch all my life, driven past this place for years, but never gone in until this summer. I must say, I instantly fell in love with this place… perhaps a little too fast. The Shack Antique Mall has a very large selection to choose from considering the size of the shop(which is much bigger than it looks like from the outside I assure you.) The items range from old music, to movies, to antique furniture, to knick-knacks, to bells and canes and whistles, clocks, model cars, and old post cards, and every thing in between. They even have an old phonograph as well as some cylinders you can play on it. Over the summer I bought a bell and a couple old post cards from the 60’s from this shop. And this brings me to the only problem I have with the store. A lot of the items feel overpriced. I get it, you list the items at full price to get the best deal. However, they also have a «All prices are final, no negotiating» policy, so you are pretty much left being stuck paying full price if you want something. I’m not going to buy the plastic child’s cup with Superman holding it acting as the handle when you are going to charge me eight dollars for the cup, that’s not how this works. I appreciate the store, the owners are nice people, and I like to support the local shops when I can. but I want to feel like I am getting a good deal out of it too. This is the only downside to it and the reason I’ve only bought a few cheap items from the shop. Still, the store has a great selection and variety of items to go through. You’ll probably find something that interests you, so I highly suggest you go by and check it out!
