David Eskow, DDS

Used to go here, go elsewhere. Two major things to note.
1. They advised us to brush our gums, whereas most recommend brushing around the tooth and gum line. This caused my mother to have to go through dental surgery to repair what used to be healthy gums prior to coming here.
2. The doctor freely gave out confidential personal family information in regards to dental hygiene to mutual friends, clearly violating HIPAA Regulations.
Go elsewhere.

For the past 20+ years Dr. Eskow and his great staff have been our family’s dental team. I hear a lot of stories and there is the stereotype of going to the dentist and it being an unpleasant experience, but I find it to be quite the contrary. Dr. Eskow takes his time to listen to you, talk you through the options and he throws in his excellent «chair-​side» manner. It might seem a little crazy, but even after moving to California four years ago, I still make a trip every six months for my check-​up. Dr. Eskow and his team have set the bar so high, I don’t even want to waste my time looking for a local dentist. (

Dr. Eskow has been our family dentist for over ten years. He and his staff have been consistently excellent. Dr. Eskow takes the time to explain care options with pros & cons, and relates well with patients. You are given the option of which hygienist you would like to see, but I have found them all to be very good (thorough & gentle). Parking is unique, as the lot is small, but I’ve never had a problem finding a space.

Parking is atrocious. Google the address. I’m not making this up. Been here 4 times and have had 4 different hygienist with 4 different approaches/​recommendations. They try to get you to come in every 3 months, which insurance won’t pay for because I have not had a cavity since 1995.

Dr. Eskow is a great dentist. He is knowledgeable and tells you the truth, even if its not exciting news. The hygenists are friendly and professional. Anita is great. The location is cozy and convenient to Olney locals. The administrative staff is competent and quick. You never have to wait long to be seen. They always make sure to confirm when its nearing your appointment date. If you can’t get an appointment, they put you on a waitlist and call you everytime there is a cancellation. They continue to call no matter how many times the cancelled appointment isn’t convenient for you, which is great. Overall, a great practice in every aspect. I’ve been going here for 7+ year and won’t be going anywhere else.
