I love Melissa! She gave me the best haircut I have ever had. My hair is so light and voluminous! I love it! She took my thick and uneven hair and created a masterpiece. Will definitely be going back to her :)
All of the staff there is very friendly and helpful. Really a great business they run.

The front desk does not ever have enough staff and you can not ever call to make an appointment without being on hold. I feel terrible for them. They are overworked and most times sound frazzled. Very frustrating.
The hair stylist are great and the Nail people are as well.
I continue to go to Hypnotic for them but every time I call to make an appointment I consider changing places.

This modern salon has it all! Katie is my favorite stylist, she knows my hair and does an EXCELLENT job! Located in a relatively new shopping center on Main St in Damascus, it’s easy to locate. The receptionists are always so friendly, shampooers make casual conversation when sudsing it up and Katie makes catching up part of the whole package. I love this place!!!

Salon is absolutely the best and Rita is fantastic hair stylist who went above and beyond to fix my teenage daughter’s hair color. She saw her for consult and fit her in the same evening and even stayed after hours to make sure everything was perfect and it was! I can’t thank her enough for all she did and a botched up hair color from the previous day is now beautiful blonde with great highlights!

Curly haired ladies, rejoice! If you have curly hair, you know the nightmare that can be finding a stylist. I finally decided to give a stylist in Olney a try after living here for two years and continuing to drive 30 minutes to my old salon. (Who has time for that?) I called and asked who would be the best for long hair that is curly but worn straightened as well. The girl on the phone recommended Ana.
Ladies. Ana is good. I LOVE my haircut and have been for two now. Each time I have left with a cut that is flattering for my face shape AND hair type. I can wear it curly without having the dreaded triangle effect or mushroom look and I can wear it straight with body and shape or with a flattening iron and it looks great. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair since going to Ana. I am thrilled. Wish I had taken a leap of faith sooner.
Extra bonus: Ana is really nice, parking is free/​ample, scheduling is easy/​quick and hypnotic’s prices are reasonable.

I actually came across Hypnotic while looking for Bioelements products. I wanted to try a new face wash and didn’t want to wait for an online order to be shipped so I stopped by on a busy Saturday.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and shortly after explaining I was only there to pick up a product, Margaret (the esthetician) came over and asked if I had any questions. Normally I’m the «No thanks, just looking» kind of girl, but skincare I take seriously. When I told her I was debating between two washes, she took me into the facial room and tested both on my hands. She was very attentive and definitely made me want to come back for an actual facial. I even said aloud, «I’m so happy I found a Bioelements spa.» Looking forward to visiting the salon for a service!

I really enjoy my time spent at Hypnotic. For facials and waxing Margaret is amazing! She is so sweet and attentive and explains everything (I tend to ask lots of questions sometimes)…She takes pride in what she does and you can definitely see that! Diane is great with manicures and pedicures and takes her time with your feet and nails. I’ve also had a manicure with Lucia who is also really great and makes sure your nails are clean and polished well. All the staff here are very pleasant and welcoming. Making an appointment is easy and the front desk receptionists are always pleasant and smiling and helpful. Hypnotic is a salon that offers many services and can be a one-​stop shop for most! Certainly worth a visit… and I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes your new go-​to salon!

From scheduling, checkin, the top notch shampoo and massage chairs, to the cut and paying, it was world class service.
Katie, the owner’s sister cut my very long hair. She too had long hair and understood my dilemmas with over cutting hair. She was very personable and professional.
The front of house staff was helpful and very eager to please. The young lady shampooing hair was very welcoming and professional as well. She took the time to ask questions and offer advice with shampooing.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this salon to my friends and family. I was a walk-​in and they accommodated me and made me feel so pampered! Great salon!

Chrissy the manager/​owner fixed my hair this week. I enjoyed that she was very professional and welcoming. All in all I’m happy with what she did to my hair. I’m just happy that it is fixed.

Great place! Clean, with nice light and friendly atmosphere. Raquel is an excellent stylist. She made me feel at ease and I was very happy with my haircut.

Unfortunately, when I arrived the stylist whom I had an appointment with was out sick. The wonderful lady at the front desk, had tried to call me to let me know, but the number they had on file was no longer valid, and I hadn’t updated it, so it was completely my fault. She gave me the option to either reschedule, or mentioned that Ally was available. I was desperate for a hair cut, and although I love my other stylist, I said okay. I am a little nervous when it comes to getting my haircut because I know it can be difficult to cut, but was elated when Ally was finished. She did a fantastic job, and I absolutely love it. It was an excellent experience from the time I walked in the door. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful, friendly, and apologetic for the circumstances. The girl who washed my hair was very attentive and gave me an wonderful head massage. And Ally really listened to my concerns about previous hair cuts and then gave me a beautiful hair cut. I love the fact that if one stylist is unavailable, I can trust another to listen and do just as amazing as any other stylist there. Thank you so much.

I had an updo done here for prom and it was AMAZING. Melissa expertly transformed my waist-​length hair into a series of braids and pinned up curls and the end result was exactly what I wanted. I was totally impressed when I walked away from my appointment, but what really blew me away was that 24 hours later (after being out in the rain and dancing and sleeping on it!), my hair was still up and picture-​ready. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Melissa is THE BEST hair stylist ever! Very creative, artsy, edgy, and can work your hair in to miracles!
I have really really curly hair and get the Keratin treatment done which makes it straight. I decided to go from the longest my hair has ever been to the shortest it’s ever been by getting an edgy bob with longer a-​symmetrical pieces in the front. I ended up getting a red extension in my hair which I’ve never gotten and I am obsessed with my new do! They also use and sell Morracan Oil on your hair which works phenomenally.
This salon is better than Bubbles, Red door, and Zoe’s together. Staff is friendly, prices are great, and they really listen to what you want done. Not to mention they have a great referral program too! Book ahead of time to make sure you can get a spot because they are always booked! That’s just how awesome they are.

I’m very impressed with this salon. Everyone there is very nice and very professional and there is a super pleasant atmosphere (i.e., lots of windows, light, it’s a nice sized salon, the shampoo chairs have a back massage function, etc.). Overall it’s a great experience. I’ve gotten my haircut by Charity who does a very nice job. She listens and also provides ideas. Top notch salon in the Olney area.

Wonderful place. So glad I found it. Melissa is top notch. My daughter has very diffucult curly hair and she managed to tame it! Very edgy style, super creative!
