My kids went here when they were little it was better than expensive daycare where they were not learning anything. Son is in college now but why the review now … I was looking for something else and came upon a single post for the school… Can’t believe that… anyway my kids learned so much. They are independent thinkers, they learned French from one of the teachers, we went on culturally, artsy based field trips, we did fun outside things and if I remember correctly I believe kids planted a little garden… They also wore uniforms, so they developed a very professional view of how to present themselves… and that stayed with them… call it corny but in the real business world appearance is everything and they learned that early on… and they were super cute in all the school gear:) My kids overall math, spelling and vocabulary increased by attending this school… when they graduated from JB and went to regular school they were well ahead of the game and even put into some honors type classes. The foundation starts young for learning, my one son is now a program scholar at a university on a full ride academic scholarship. I do believe my son(s) began their love of learning here as well as an overall multi-cultural diverse overview of the world as the circle for my one son represents that now(my other son is gone on to be with the lord) but I know he would also be a young scholar at someone’s university… It all started at Julia Brown I really loved this school.

I love, love, love this school and this location. My son is 3 and in the primary class and soon my daughter will be joining him. All the staff is super friendly and unlike a lot of «preschools» that say they teach all of these things to the kids but really the kids just color– no this school is actually full of learning. The fact that from 2 ½ to 5 are all together really teaches the kids to interact with older kids and to really help each other out. The environment is so relaxing and they teach manners like shaking hands when you first enter the classroom and before you leave. Since it is not traditional in the since of sit at a desk and work all day the kids have less energy when they come home and the schedule they keep the kids on is perfect. It is not play time all the time and even on the playground they are learning, the teachers are not all standing together talking while the kids play but actually playing/teaching the kids. My 3 year old loves it and told me «mommy I am a big boy I can walk myself into class» which is something this school is big on — independence. I would tell everyone to get your kids into this school and they are affordable. It is the best place I have had my kids so far and the hours are great as well.
