Beware! This review is about the Rockville location. They don’t take good care of your children. My son had his thumb nail ripped off one day. The very next day he somehow tripped on a cot which they put between tables and hit his head hard on a table edge resulting in 1″ long gash on his forehead. They treated the situation like it was nothing even though it happened on their watch. On top of that they will call you to pick up your kid for anything and everything including the most trivial situations where your child will not feel like playing or be active. To top it off we wanted to pull him out and gave them the required 30 day notice. They in turn told us that because they were splitting the class into 3 and 4 year old it would be better if we withdrew him early. We did only to have them claim that we should forfeit our deposit. For the money they charge this place is a complete rip off. Did I mention that they do not have a study program and they do not prepare children for kindergarten?

I’m nothing but happy with this place and the people who work there. Granted, it is just our first year, but I love what I see so far. And yes, it is pricey… but that’s pretty much the story of Montgomery County, right?

Fun, friendly, both environment and staff. My child loves this place– she previously hated montessouri. Teachers are great and responsive — what more can you ask for? One reviewer had a problem with paying when your child doesn’t attend… Well, you reserve days/times, and the school reserves that spot for your child. It isnt their fault if you can’t attend. Look at any private school… They dont prorate tuition because you are sick or miss a few days.

The teachers are great but I agree with Vince P– the tone parents receive quite often is condescending. Your child also is at a disadvantage if placed in a class with one of the workers children.

The powers that be will send your child home for any imagined reason to make up for their terribly overcrowded conditions. And sure enough, you pay whether your child is there or not. Poorly run business that treats parents with a robotic and condescending tone and attitude. The girls that worked with my boy were very nice but this type of minimize costs and maximize profits is for the oil companies, not my son.
