Attic Day Spa

After moving from Los Angeles to Olympia, I found that finding a great spa for a massage was like trying to find the last unicorn. If you also live in Olympia and you’ve been to the Bliss spas at the W hotels, then you know what I’m talking about. Thankfully, I found the mystical creature and it’s the Attic Day Spa!
My husband and I first came to this lovely place quite a few months ago. We had the Couples Massage and were amazed by the service and how relaxing the experience was. Nathan made it easy to book the appointment and was very helpful in deciding the date and time. They have a beautiful setup for the shower and changing room. It’s quaint and very quiet (the spa is part of a b & b). I had Jennifer as my massage therapist and loved her! We’d go back over and over again if we weren’t so darn busy!
Most recently I came back for a quick Basic Swedish Massage with Rosita. She was just as amazing as Jennifer and I appreciate Nathan and Rosita fitting me in at the last minute.
You really can’t go wrong with this wonderfully relaxing spa!

Oh, the love!!! My sister and I spend all day Saturday being spoiled here. Lydia and Becky, our spa gals, took amazing care of us! I got the hot stone massage, which was amazing! Absolutely blissful! The heat penetrates your entire being, and Lydia’s hands are magical appendages! Then there was the facial… heavenly. So relaxing, and my skin glowed (not in the «I’ve just had a few layers peeled off me» way, but in the «I’m holding a very wonderful, slightly scandalous secret» way). Then there was a light lunch shared with my sister in front of the Victorian foot spas (oh, I forgot to mention the foot soaks at the very beginning of the day). Then it was on to the body wraps. I chose the mango lavender wrap, and I tell you, it was amazing. My skin feels so smooth, so supple.
It was an amazing day. Truly, my sister and I came out of it not only feeling like little balls of lovely goo; but that we had made two new friends in Lydia and Becky. We plan on coming back monthly for a girl’s weekend away.
Moms, bring your daughters to this place. Come by yourself to get away from stress and unravel yourself. I really can’t give this place enough accolades. It’s a treasure, for sure.

We stayed at the Swantown Inn (same building) overnight and got a couple’s massage at the spa. The spa was impeccability clean and well kept — the staff were friendly and entire experience was extremely relaxing.
