I had a Brazilian wax at bare for the first time! I loved the environment. The retail selection was neatly displayed. The waiting are was comfortable and inviting. Christina was so sweet and my appointment started right on time. When we got back to the treatment room everything was so clean and sanitary. I loved that she had disposable products to sit on and didn’t double dip her wax. She was very thorough using her mag light and tweezers. I felt completely comfortable with her and completely forgot I was getting hair removed. Parking was also so easy. Her online booking was so easy and quick to use. She required a deposit and it made it nice at checkout to only pay the remaining balance. I look forward to my next visit.

I’ve been getting brazilians for years and had yet to find someone trustworthy since I moved here. Christina is amazing! She is genuine, down to earth, so easy to talk to and skilled at her job. It wasn’t painful at all and it’s been more than 6 months since my last wax (I’m extremely picky with my esthetician and refuse to go to nail salons for waxes). Highly recommend!

If you need a Brazilian, this is the BEST place to go! I recently moved to Washington and I needed a wax desperately. I tried contacting a few people but Christina Petrole at Bare was the only one who returned my calls and was willing to work with my schedule. She’s very kind and understanding, especially with all the cancellations I had to do. Her office is gorgeous, the entire spot is nicely decorated covered in beautiful artwork. Every time I walk in I automatically feel at ease from the set-​up, to the music, and her overall presence. I love coming here and I always leave with the cutest head wraps! She also offers you water right when you walk in and that always helps relax me.
At first, the only service I came here for was a Brazilian wax, now I come here and do my legs and lips as well! Christina does such a great a job, I can’t help but purchase more services from her. I waxed my legs one time before and it wasn’t such a good experience, but when Christina does it, you can’t even tell! Waxing my upper lip has been amazing too! I swear, anything she touches, doesn’t hurt. If you ask me, that’s VERY important when looking for a great wax person!!!

Based off Unilocal reviews, I went to Christina for my first Brazilian, first wax ever! I was so nervous, I didn’t know what to expect. She talked me through everything. Made me very comfortable, as comfortable as you can get in this uncomfortable situation. This was last September 2014 and I plan on never seeing another aesthetician!

I highly recommend Christina for any of your hair removal or facial needs. The setting for the spa is clean, relaxing and professional. Her spa is very detail oriented, her calm demeanor makes you feel at ease (so important when going in for a brazilian), and she is a perfectionist when it comes to the services she offers. I never miss my monthly brow cleanup (she is a brow PRO!). So grateful I found Bare!

I have nothing but great things to say about Bare! Excellent experience for my first ever Brazilian. Very comfortable environment and service, the space is warm and inviting and Christina is knowledgeable and professional. I found Christina through Unilocal a few months ago and I am so glad I decided to go to her. I have now gone a few times for appointments and couldn’t be more pleased with her work. Christina is fabulous, sweet and caring. Her spa is very nicely done, comfortable, and relaxing. I had a lovely experience (as far as getting waxed goes.) I am very happy to have stumbled upon Christina and Bare, and will definitely be going back for other services as well.

I was sooo nervous to get my first bikini wax, but I really wanted to this summer so I decided to get a brazilian first, even though it’s advised against. I looked up places that do bikini waxes in the area and found Bare, so I searched reviews where I found Lindsey M’s review. After reading her’s (100% accurate, by the way) I scheduled my appointment online.
Christina’s salon is very neat and organized. There is free parking, which is one less thing to worry about, and Christina is very professional. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and keeps conversation going and awkwardness away.
It was barely painful at all, though that aspect is different for every person. The price was great and the service thorough. I will definitely be going back and referring my friends.

Christina is the absolute best. When you enter her salon it is relaxing and impeccably clean. She is very talented at what she does and 5 stars isn’t even enough.

I lived in Seattle for a couple of years, where I got used to very fast (15 min) but pricey ($ 70) waxing. When I moved back down to the Olympia area, I needed a new «wax lady.» After trying another place and being very disappointed, I went to Christina because my best friend recommended her.
It’s probably always nerve wracking finding a new salon/​spa service provider, but everything about the experience at Bare put me at ease. First, there’s parking! Her place is so stylish and clean and you can tell everything has been planned out, down to the relaxing, quiet music. Her website is easy to use and actually serves a purpose – you have an online account which saves information about your previous appointments, allows you to make future appointments, and allows you to set up email and text reminders. When I made my first appointment, I wrote a little message to Christina to inform her about my needs in my appointment and she called before my appointment because she thought the message had been cut off and she wanted to make sure I didn’t have any questions or concerns before I came in. Super thoughtful!
I realize I won’t probably find a 15 minute waxer in this area, but after this, I really don’t miss it. While it took 45 minutes, the time just flew by. No super awkward positioning and I don’t know how she did it, but it was virtually painless. And unlike every other appointment I’ve had, I somehow did not walk out in any pain, irritation, or stickiness. It was as if I hadn’t just had waxing done. Crazy! Plus Christina is incredibly knowledgable about what she does and about aftercare, and she carries some great products. To top it all off – no more $ 70 waxing, just $ 45!

While on vacation in Olympia I found myself due for a maintenance brazillian! I found Bare on Unilocal and checked it out. Christina was great! She paid attention to details and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
I hope they start doing sugaring because that works way better for my particular skin type — but I would go back for a wax in a heart beat!

I have been going to Christina for a couple of years now. The fact that she is now in her own place, makes the experience that much more personal. The 45 minute drive is so worth everything. I truly feel like Christina takes personal interest in all her clients. It is more like going to see a friend for a visit than client’s appointment.
I have had many of waxes in my time, but Christina is a perfectionist and makes sure that you are comfortable in addition to getting the job done. I am very glad I found her over the years. I am also very proud of her move to her own company!!!

I love this place! I started going to Christina for waxing and facials 7 years ago and have yet to find anyone who compares. I travel for work (out of town 70% of the year) and no one lives up to the service she gives!
