Oh boy. Well, after reading the reviews, I see I am not alone in feeling the way I do about this place. I too, have brought in nice pieces, only to be turned down because «they were not modern». Heck, the store looks like Peggy Bundy’s closet. Smells like it too. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to use Febreeze again, they must pump it through the vents. On the bright side, the ladies here have always been pleasant. Don’t expect too much on your items, especially designer purses. They offer a fraction of the retail price because they sell it for less. I guess it’s more than what you would get if you took your things to Goodwill. Bonus points for anything bedazzled, it is sure to be a winner there.

Ugh! Where do I start? I have been to this store and sold things before and each experience has gone downhill. Today I thought I’d give them another try and went in with a basket full of top, name brand names (J.Crew, Anthropolgie, Ann Taylor (brand new, with tags!), Barney’s NY, etc.). I was told that it would be about a half and hour wait which I was cool with. I browsed around the store and the then realizing the lady doing the inventory of my things left in the middle of it so I browsed some more until I saw it was about 45 minutes later. A lady that had brought her things in earlier came into the store to see if they had completed the inventory only to be told she had to wait another 20 minutes. I took my cue here and left the store to run an errand. When I returned I was pretty shocked at the items they excepted and the items they didn’t. Oh well, their loss since browsing through their inventory they can definitely use some better items in my opinion. I was kind of taken aback since a lot of the stuff I sorted through looked more like Goodwill quality (in my opinion anyway). Looks like I won’t be returning there which is fine since I found a much better and higher quality online gently used clothing store that even has free shipping! I highly recommend
for any other customers like me searching for better quality and customer service.

3 stars for selling used clothing and keeping it out of the landfill. I have bought and sold at this store. Every time I go there the same super skinny very aged woman is working. She is just plain rude. I would enjoy my visits so much more if she did not work there. Today the other staff was offering to go get coffee and asked her if she wanted a biscotti. She snorted and said you mean biscuit? Duh no she meant biscotti. She really makes me feel unwelcome. Owners should read these reviews. I will shop there because I have limited funds. But would spend more if I felt welcome.

Awful Customer Service! I’ve enjoyed shopping here, and have purchased many things in the past. But after my last visit, I probably won’t return. When I walked in, I had to stand at the counter for quite some time, waiting for the sales clerk to come out of the backroom. Then, as she went through my clothing, she proceeded to describe all of it to a friend on the phone. At one point, I hear her say, «This woman only brought in one shoe, who does that?» Obviously it fell out of the bag, so I retrieved it out of the car. It was pretty embarrassing having the entire store hear her pick apart everything I brought in. I’m not one of those people that think all of their used clothing is amazing. But when she hands me a bag back, full of clothing from nordstrom, Gap, and anthropologie, (and only 1 or 2 years old) and says, «we need more modern stuff.» It makes me think they’ve got the wrong person up front.

I wish there were a ZERO star. Very rude customer service. Especially the front counter woman with the colored blond hair. I was referred there by a friend, but will never, ever go back. BTW they don’t really like overweight people in their store. My friend is quite thin, how would I know. lol.

It was my first experience with this store. I had gone to see if they would be interested in buying some gently used items from The Limited, Macy’s, and Banana Republic. Both clerks were very rude and condescending. They asked me to wait 30 minutes, which would not have been so bad, but the more I thought about it, the more bothered I was by their poor customer service. I returned to the store and nicely asked for my items back. Not interested in returning to buy or sell.

I have shopped at this store several times and sold items once. It carries a good variety of items. I do find them to be a bit higher priced but the quality of items is good.
The staff I have encountered there have been subpar. I’ve never once been greated upon arrival to the store. The employees at the counter just turn and look. Its kind of awkward. I waited 10 minutes for a fitting room once even though there were 2 attendants at the counter. (they told be it would be just a moment and seemed to be in the middle of a conversation).
If you arent bothered by the subpar employees then take a stab at this place. I do on occassion (usually when I happen to be in the neighborhood) and sometimes I find a gem!

I had a good experience here. The prices are a bit higher than at my favorite consignment shop, the selection is somewhat limited, but the styles are current and everything is in good condition. I did get a beautiful wool/​cashmere blend trench-​length coat for $ 40. I will be back to browse for new selections.

Never again. The staff was rude. The clothes I brought in were brand new, expensive items, styles current, desireable labels, but most of everything I brought in was turned down. Interestingly so as there were several items in the store that were very worn, off-​label, and well past current season. Being in the business of selling «current» fashion trends, I would expect employees to be a bit more style and label savvy. I will not be returning, to shop or to sell.

Do not do business with this place, they are horrible to deal with if you decide to have a return. They are nice when you are purchasing items, but horribly rude if you are returning. They will fight with you and argue that they do not make returns. Even though you have «7» days. There is an asian girl and an german lady that are just aweful, they should not work in any industry tied to customer service. These two have no idea what it is. I wonder if the owner of this store even knows what kind of people they have working for them. Beware, you will not get your money back unless you like arguing or have an attorney conveniently at hand. Good luck with your business, you will not be successful with the staff you have. You need to work on getting people to return to your store, not going to happen with rude customer service.

Just what Olympia needed! Great place to take in your gently used items and make some quick cash. Basically they offer you ¹⁄₃ of what they sell your item for and offer you cash up front, which is awesome that way you don’t have to wait for your item to actually sell like at consignment stores. Brought my things in last week, and was greeted by the employees who walked me through their buying process, and actually offered to «pre sort» through my things (probably because I looked
completely lost. First time doing anything like this!) They only take things that have been purchased between 1 – 2 years, which makes sense since who would want to buy anything from a store that isn’t new and in style? So to sum up my review, I had a great experience, and made some extra money (89 $ heck yeah!). Only downside is that they aren’t open yet to actually sell anything! Hurry up and start selling Clothes Mentor!
