It’s a decent option for Indian food in Lacey. I understand they also do large catering sized portions for take out as well.

Delicious food! I’m not from here, so Next time I am in town, I will have to come again. I was almost part of the clean plate club, but the lunch special was too large. ;)

Excellent! My family has eaten here several times and each time the food is great. The service is very good and we like the cozy dining room!

This place is by far the best Indian place I have ever been in my life. In fact, i would say the best place to eat in the Lacey/Olympia area. The prices are more than fair, the service is attentive and the food is consistent. Thank all that is wonderful you exist!

With a group of 5, one of whom had never had Indian food, we feasted. So many kinds of nan, such tasty sauces, and great service. We will be back.

Awesome prices and great food. Must try the butter chicken. Lunch specials are under 9 dollars and it comes with a lot of food.

I really like this place. My favorite is the chicken tikka Marsala. Food is good. Staff friendly. Service is fast. We do take out more than eat in. Seems very authentic. I like picking up the sugar coated fennel as nice treat for after dinner.

Pros: Curry Corner has great Indian food. The dishes are delicious and, for the most part, the staff is friendly. The Chicken Tikka Masala is some of the best I’ve had. Cons: One of the drawbacks of this restaurant is its size and location. It is located in a strip mall, and it feels like it. Heck, I have been in Chinese food places(also in strip malls) more elaborately decorated than this. There isn’t really any décor, and the seating leaves a lot to be desired. For the price and the glowing reviews, I was expecting a bit more. However, the food and the smell of said food help make up for it.

Go for the lunch special — I always get 2 meals out of it and it’s very inexpensive. My favorites are the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and the palak paneer. All delicious. The assorted veggie appetizers are always incredible. Mango lassi is delicious. Great tea. Lovely and helpful service. Love this place!

When I was 15, in the way unique and ubiquitous in the life of the teenager, it was all about the freedom to explore the world that I found by taking a bus from Renton to Seattle. It was the time when sunshine and warm breeze had significance and life and I listened to Animal Collective for the first time and everything had Importance and special Righteousness and everything glowed. It was a time in life where it is a blessing to look back fondly from adulthood, and it is supremely bittersweet to look, reminisce, and not be able to open the time back up. In these days of exploring Seattle, with my assets being some friends, a little walking-around money, and no adult supervision, I experienced curry for the first time, first in smell, then in taste. This was a life-changing experience after years of grey Anglo-American food, pizza, fast food, Old Country Buffet, etc. I declared curry my favorite food. It still is. How could it not be. Since then, I have had curry and comparable spiced Indian-subcontinent-type food in the range, from frozen chickpeas in plastic tray(Safeway, not good) to dal of my own making(pretty good) to a bunch of leftovers that my friend shared with me made by her mother who is an immigrant from Pakistan(very good.) It is pretty well known that smell and taste are pretty much the memory senses. Try not to eat SpaghettiOs and feel like Barney the Dinosaur is giving lessons on a nearby television in a room with soft shag carpet. Most curries only present a momentary experience of tasting pretty good. The curry at Curry Corner is transcendent. It brings me back to the time when cities still glowed. I recommend the lunch special.

Curry Corner is not a restaurant I will go back to, no matter how strong my craving for Indian food in Olympia gets. The food was almost edible, as I did not feel great while eating it and therefore did not finish it. Didn’t feel great after, either. Tasted very low quality and not fresh at all. The food was served on metal cafeteria trays and looking around at the lunch crowd, my boyfriend and I found ourselves in a restaurant FULL of elderly people. It felt overwhelmingly hospital-cafeteria-like. There was even a waiter standing in the corner of the room watching all the customers eating. The overall experience was weird and unsatisfactory and you won’t catch me eating here again.

From the outside, it doesn’t look like much(behind a gas station in a small strip mall). Opening the door, we all said«Ohhh…» as we were met with the most wonderfully authentic aroma of Indian food. Our party tried two appetizers(veggie platter and chana aloo) and they were both very good. Butter chicken followed with rice and naan(thick and chewy… wonderful) for my parents. I enjoyed the dal makhani a great deal. The staff are friendly and attentive and the price is really reasonable. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

I love Indian Food. Sadly, we missed the lunch special but that didn’t stop me from trying their Non-Vegetarian Currycorner Special. I split it with my mom. It’s a huge metal tray and comes with your choice of lamb or chicken curry. I chose lamb curry. It also came with chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, raita(herbed yogurt, yum), naan(so fresh), basmati rice, and rice pudding for dessert. Everybody agreed that the lamb curry was delicious but the chicken tikka masala was also a general favorite. If you’re not too into spices or just starting to enjoy indian cuisine, chicken tikka masala is a great starting dish. Friendly service. Great food. I want to catch the lunch special next time!

Dear Curry Corner, Thank god we found you. You deliver what others cannot: consistently delicious food, and pleasant, attentive service. The rest of the Olympia/Lacey food scene could stand to take a page from your book. Sincerely, Aimee

This post is for anybody who only said 4.5 stars! It’s the best curry anywhere hands down. Everything on the menu is delicious. It blows the competition out of the water. Ok, do I make myself clear?! I mean YUM!

This is a follow up review. I have loved Curry Corner since we first«discovered» it. Unfortunately, with many restaurants the service or food quality goes downhill as time passes. I am thrilled to report that that is not the case with Curry Corner. The service is always prompt, even when they are busy. The food is just as delicious as its ever been.

Had stayed Indian for a year, I am very picky with any Indian cuisine that doesn’t «look or taste right». And I was thrilled when I had the first bite of food in this tiny place: the most authentic Indian food I’ve found in this area! Then I kept coming back. Highly recommend!

If you are ever in Olympia, here’s a spot you must visit if you’re a curry lover. The restaurant is a hybrid, it’s a also a little Indian market inside. I must admit, I was a little worried about this place when we were the only ones in there. After some research on Unilocal,I looked at some pictures of the food and decided to go ahead and order the Seafood Mughlai Korma, garlic naan, and chai tea. The chai tea was your average chai tea you receive at any other Indian restaurant. Each entrée either comes with rice or naan, we decided to get both rices for both entrees because most of the Indian restaurants that I go to skimp you on the rice but this place doesn’t.(The rice is enough for two on one entrée.) The curry that I received looked mouth watering and was worth it. The curry was so creamy and was the most delicious Indian delicacies that I’d ever had. I wish these guys were in Seattle!

What an amazing find! Located in an unassuming strip mall in Lacey, this place produces amazing Indian food. We ordered the lamb vindaloo, lamb korma, palak paneer and butter chicken. All four were excellent, though the butter chicken was a tad sweeter than I prefer. Also, their sweet lassi is pink. Not completely sure what gives it it’s pink color, though I gather it may be a fruit concentrate. It did taste slightly more berry than in used to, though that could have been simply because the color made me expect it to taste that way. It was delicious either way.
