The food and service were decent, albeit rather pricey, I ordered the tough burger which came with fries and I had them upgraded to garlic fries which had 6 or 8 roasted garlic cloves on them but I can’t see the $ 1.50 additional cost, my husband had the spinach bacon salad that he liked but the waitress took it away, without asking, before he was finished, I also had the lemonade, which was $ 4.50, no refills as it is fresh squeezed but I’m thinking a lemon costs about 20 cents, seems rather expensive. overall we probably won’t return

Sunday Brunch is delicious! We will definitely be back for that. Service was great, food was great, worth the price and a great dining experience.

Food was amazing. Drunken Sailor is a phenomenal dish. Depth of flavors was great. The desserts were decadent.

My husband and I just came in and was very surprised how amazing the good was. Not to mention were from Texas and love sweet tea so they gave us some simple syrup so it was the best.

The biggest rip off ever. $ 18.50 for a Sicilian burger and fries? $ 21 for chicken cordon? $ 16 for two bowls of chowder? 1 mixed drink and a 16 ounce beer? Our extortion fee by the Iron Rabbit Mafia on the tab was $ 80 for a fancy McDonalds with beer. My bill should be $ 45, not freaking $ 80! We will never come back again for the rest of eternity and will never recommend anyone here until the prices reflects reality.

Food was decent, but overpriced for the quantity. Its locally sourced(?) but bangers and mash should fill ya for $ 12…I had to hit up the taco truck around the corner when I left. Nice atmosphere.

Great location. The food was fabulous. The garlic fries are so tasty. The wait time was my only issue but it was super busy. Definitely a must visit if you are super hungry and want some good food.

Today was the fourth time I’ve eaten here and must say that each time has been a great dining experience… Food and service are always on point. Today we brought a coworker, who has never eater here, for her birthday lunch. She is a vegetarian and we were somewhat concerned at first because of the burger-heavy menu(eaten on a previous occasion… Amazing). She decided on the falafel pita and loved it so much she ate the entire thing! Another coworker had the prawn salad and claimed it was just fabulous. I was actually a bit jealous of her sun dried tomatoes. She also finished her entire salad. I had the Hopp Salad and it was bomb. I’m a lover of a great salad and I truly appreciate fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken was perfect… And I loved the crispy bacon. I’m also a fan of the use of locally sourced, organic ingredients… Thank you! The service was awesome. Our server was very attentive and the food came out rather quickly. It can sometimes be tricky during the lunch hour but we really lucked out! Whether it’s Sunday brunch, lunch with coworkers, or dinner on a Saturday night you really can’t go wrong… Amazing food, drinks, and service!

The food was great, service was lovely. This place would get a 4 or 5 star review from me if it wasnt for their prices. Almost 4 bucks for a soda. I would only expect that from a bar. My husband and I split a burger, and got a kid’s meal for our baby… We ended up with a $ 44 bill. This is one of those places that pretends to be something it’s not. It’s good food, but not break the bank food. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Very solid food and atmosphere. The Poutine Who appetizer is beyond great with a good play of flavor and texture. The Apple Cider is crisp and sweet. The burgers that we tried both had sufficient flavor with mind altering bacon. The Cole Slaw is fine(get fries or Pot o fire) overall great experience

I was treated here for my birthday and I was very pleased with the Salmon Omelette that came with home fries and a piece of coffee cake. The pieces of salmon weren’t huge but they also didn’t skimp on them either which was great. The meal was filling without making me feel stuffed and the coffee cake was absolutely delicious and a great addition to the meal. I would definitely eat here again. If you come during brunch I would recommend the salmon omelette(but my experience was that the menu viewable online was slightly different than the one they gave us in the restaurant, not hugely different but an example was the menu online showed an omelette with prawns, salmon, and cod while the menu in person listed the seafood omelette with just salmon so be prepared for that. It might of been a seasonal thing though, I don’t remember what my waiter told me).

Heading back to Bellingham from Portland, we were hungry so we decided to stop off somewhere in Olympia. Based on the Unilocal reviews, we checked out this place. It was 4:30 so the dinner crowd was not there yet. Just two other customers besides us. The wait staff were very friendly and personable. Nice ambience. The husband ordered the Sicilian burger which was packed with grilled caramelized red onions, goat cheese, roasted garlic, spring greens, roasted red peppers, juicy beef patty on a brioche bun. Are you hungry yet??? Came with your choice of fries, coleslaw or an apple. He got the slaw and it was very fresh and not overly mayonnaisey(I’m pretty sure that’s a word). I got the special which was pumpkin soup which was very flavorful. And added a side salad which was spring greens, cucumbers and tomatoes. Oh and the husband ended up getting a cup of the pumpkin soup too because mine was so tasty and I DIDNOTWANTTOSHARE. A bit on the pricey side … For both our meals plus two beers and tip, it came to $ 60. But worth it since the food was good and fresh. We will be back next time we are in the area

I was REALLY hungry(almost hangry) and wanted a really good meal, real food. My family and I quickly plotted our usual strategy at a new place, order different things and sample. I ordered the artichoke Alfredo with chicken, my hubby the sun dried tomato chicken. Long story short, I never got around to sampling his, the Alfredo proved to addictive. I look forward to more lovely, substantial meals to come!

One word: AMAZING My family moved to Olympia recently, and I’ve been missing the kind of food I could get in California. My mom saw this restaurant on Unilocal and since the reviews were so good, we decided to give it a try. Thank you so much, Unilocalers! You definitely steered us right! The meals: Drunken Sailor, Sicilian Burger, Tough Burger. Each one was perfect. The burgers were juicy and so flavorful. The Drunken Sailor had a rum sauce that was exceptional. The drinks: iced tea, iron margarita, and the bitter rabbit house beer. All great! Service: really good, no complaints! They refilled water quickly, were attentive without being overly obtrusive, were knowledgeable about the menu, just really good. We’ll be back soon!

I’ve been here a couple times for early dinners — and honestly, this was one of my favorite experiences. They tout a local northwest-inspired experience and that’s what you’ll get. We had the wings for an appetizer — which were crispy and spicy and hot! Everything you’d want in a wing, actually. I had the curry and it too was simply delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh, and everything was hot and well-made. We ended our dinner by sharing a cobbler and it too was just sweet and fresh tasting — bursting with berries and topped with cool vanilla ice cream. Don’t forget the beer! They have like 15 beers on tap and most of them local favorites of mine personally. I sincerely appreciate a place that can pair beer as well as recommend it — plus, it’s always rotating, so you can go in for a new experience often! The staff was attentive and pleasant and the place is neatly kept and clean. Parking was fine, the location is easy to find as well. Prices were about right for this type of place, and I’d go back a hundred times for their wings and beer offerings!

I would have given one additional star if their outdoor seating tables shake like a leaf in a windstorm. Seriously. I had to hold the table with two hands every time my wife cut her food. It was either that, or spill our drinks all over the place. We would have moved to a different table, except all of the outdoor tables were the same, cheap screw-together flimsy metal tables. Food was excellent. Both my wife’s meal and mine were very good indeed. This is the second time we have eaten here, and both times the food and service were fantastic. So, for a great meal, eat indoors and enjoy.

My husband and I have been enjoying the food and service at the Iron Rabbit since 2008. I would recommend the delicious lamb burger. It is seasoned perfectly and very juicy. It is so good! My husband likes the steak and also the ABC Wrap. He raves about those dishes all the time! The staff is attentive, friendly, accurate, and great to talk to. We also respect the fact that owner, Christian is invested in his customers. He is always making sure his restaurant is serving the best food with the best service. Every year, my husband and I have made it a tradition to have Valentine’s Day dinner at the Iron Rabbit. The food has always been spot on. There is an appetizer to share, a soup/salad option, a main dish and a dessert to share. The price is more than reasonable and we look forward to it every Valentine’s Day. Finally, a little bit about the bar. They always have some great beers on tap. The selection is always rotating, so it’s great to try something new. The atmosphere in the bar is very laid back and you will always have attentive service from someone friendly. I highly recommend the Iron Rabbit for family gatherings, meeting up with your friends, or for a special date night with your loved one!

I would give this place 2 ½ stars if I could. I had the Chicken Cordon Who. The potatoes and asparagus were good but the chicken was covered in a sauce that I didn’t at all care for. I was starving so I ate it. It was really pricey. The server was friendly but insanely slow. It’s probably not a place I will return.
