I went to Dr. Lathrop for my first chiropractic appointment ever after researching a few on Unilocal.I liked what I read and his office hours were convenient for me to get in within the next day.
A month prior I had experienced a pulsing, crampy back pain that woke me up in the middle of the night. The problem came and vanished numerous times, the ache lessening each time, but still present. I’d also been experiencing an achy and stiff neck I attributed to having a desk job for over 10 years/​poor posture. When I came in to the office his staff was very friendly and Dr. Lathrop himself immediately put me at ease. He was very easy to talk to and had a lot of valuable knowledge that he shared about how problems in the spine can affect other systems, like digestion.
After the initial check-​up, he proceeded to adjust my back and base of my neck (where both the problems had been). He was very gentle through the whole process and none of it hurt. I walked out of the clinic finally able to turn my head freely and with the assurance I could call if there was any problems. I did follow-​up two days later to ask about some soreness and Dr. Lathrop was right on the phone with me to assess the situation and reassure me it was normal after an adjustment. I appreciated his availability.
I would recommend him to anyone.

I have had intense back pain for quite a while. I was diagnosed with sacroliitis and finding no relief for my pain, buring or numbness. Dr. Lathrop saw me earlier today and I am now walking without pain. This was my first experience with chiropractors but I would recommend him to anyone! If you are in pain GO see him! You won’t regret it!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lathrop for several years now whenever anything «goes out». Having had chronic back pain since I was 17 (I’m 58 now), I’ve seen dozens of chiropractors over the years. Dr. Lathrop is by far the best experience I’ve had. He spends the time to check in with my body. Always knows exactly where the problem is, and gently, but firmly, resolves the problem. My experience has been that the chiropractic field is littered with people of dubious integrity, interested only in getting you back as often as possible to make a buck. Dr. Lathrop is not one of these. I’m usually adjusted in one or two sessions, then won’t see him again for months. My kind of chiropractor!

Having recently moved to the area, I was unsure of who to go to for chiropractic care, so I picked one at random from the list that my insurance company gave me. Although I was surprised that he didn’t have an x-​ray taken on my first visit, I am glad, as he immediately recognized what the problem was (he said the same thing that my other chiropracters have said after looking at an x-​ray), and made an adjustment.
In subsequent visits, I have found that he has had a gentle touch, as well as being very kind and informative. Additionally, his staff is very efficient and friendly. I would definitely recommend him.
