Nails and Waxing Salon

Took my mom here for her birthday for pedicures. We both got the #2 pedicure with paraffin wax. The woman who did mine took her time and was thorough but the woman who did my mom’s rushed through her massage, sugar scrub, etc. My mom ended up waiting 10 minutes for me to finish. We were able to use the check in coupon for each of us though and were charged only $ 21 plus tip for both, which is fairly cheap if you ask me. Not super impressed with my first visit, but I would go back a second time for another try.

This place is truly one of a kind. The owner, Chelsea genuinely cares about the customers satisfaction. All of the ladies are the same. Also, extremely friendly. When you walk in you feel more like family than customer. I have been so spoiled here, I won’t go anywhere else.

This salon is the best. So clean. Friendly and honest staff. Very consistent with quality. When you ask how long of a wait you get the REAL wait time. Great choice of colors, gel & regular. I would recommend!

I love this salon!!! It was so clean and everyone was so nice! I got a pedicure, acrylics and a Brazilian wax and my experience could not have been better! My toes look AMAZING as well as my nails! Chelsea did my wax; she was so funny and friendly and she made me feel super comfortable! I highly recommend this place! (Prices are decent too) they will listen to any request you have so don’t be shy! I will most definitely be back here for all my beauty needs!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place. It was my first time and I will Definitely be going back. Got my nails and brows done and I will openly admit I am hard to please but Nails and Waxing definitely gets high marks from me!!! Chelsea did my nails and not only do they look fabulous, I can honestly say that was one of the best experiences I’ve had at a salon in a Long time! I will definitely recommend to anyone and plan on returning myself :) I posted a picture of my nails so you can see another example of their amazing work above when I checked in, mine are the red tips with the single white nail with a firework. :) This is a Must try for anyone looking for a good salon.

After searching pinterest and google for Seahawk nails, I got some Ideas but didn’t see what I really wanted. I explained to Chelsea that I wanted them neat & classy with A LOT of bling. She knew exactly what to do. It took a couple hours but she made sure every stone was lined perfectly. The hawk on my pointer fingers is her own hand painted design that she placed a green rhinstone in for the eye. She used two different kinds of gltter (one gel one polish) to bring out the perfect seahawk neon green. On my right ring firnger she put the number 25 in rhinstones for Richard Sherman and on my left ring finger a 3 for Russell Wilson. She top coated them twice to secure and smoothe the rhinestones them so they wont snag. I am so impressed with her work on my nails. I love Love LOVE them!!! Chelsea takes care that your well manicured and your nails are perfectly done. She is a very kind, sweet person and an amazing nail artist. I can say the same for the rest of the staff. This was my second visit. I came back because of the great service and excellent design. At this point, I cannot immagine going anywhere else!

I came here with my mother to have manicures.
In all honesty, my nails do look great. I got a gel manicure and the color is fantastic, my nails were totally filled in with lacquer, they are shiny and smooth.
However, the customer service bummed me out a bit.
First of all, we came in together, mother and daughter, after not seeing each other in 5 months. I was visiting from LA, and it was my first day in town. They separated us at two different tables!!! We were initially seated right next to each other so we could chat and shoot the shit, catch up on life. As soon as she realized I needed the (portable) UV light for my gel manicure, they moved me and separated us from each other! What the hell??? Never have I gone with a companion to have our nails done, and separated. That’s 100% of the fun, going together and sitting next to each other.
Second, I had a Unilocal deal… 5 $ off service $ 26 or more. My gel manicure was 24 $, so they wouldn’t honor the coup. I asked if I could buy something else to make it 26 $… Nope! That just seems so lame. If I had gotten some stupid flower or Seahawks logo drawn on, I would’ve been able to get $ 5 off, no doubt. Psssssh.
Furthermore, the up-​selling is downright annoying. I get it, you need to make a living and it makes sense to upsell in business. But no, I do not want a flower. No, I do not want paraffin wax treatment. No, I do not trust you to take care of my eyebrows.
Gotta say, my nails look good, but I don’t want to come back after that experience. Lame and a half.

Well all I came in for was a color change so I haven’t gotten the full experience yet. I find their prices a little more expensive but it may be worth it. The chair is so much nicer than any of the other chairs I’ve been in. Omg It’s so amazing. The employees come across as very friendly and its clean.
