I’m a licensed home inspector in Oregon that recently completed SGA Inspection Service’s two week long course in order to become an inspector in Washington state. I signed up for the course in order to simply satisfy the state’s educational requirements, but was pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. I was able to leverage my previous experience as a home inspector with Steven and Treavor’s coursework(as InterNACHI partners) and building experience in order to make me an even better inspector. In retrospect, I don’t believe I would have had as positive of an experience with some of the other companies out there that currently offer home inspection courses for Washington state.

Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I are in the process of buying our first home and really needed a thorough, well explained inspection to help ease our minds through this process. So I get a $ 350 home Inspection, done at SGA’s convenience, because they cannot accommodate my schedule, they’re too busy, etc. — but on the day of the appointment they callously reschedule for an hour later, no reason given. Very selfish outfit. Then they do the Inspection, not telling me anything more than I already know about the house … then, they cannot get all the way into the attic, waa waa … and finally promise an e-report. Then they send me an email with a link and passwords to enter«on the lower right side of our web site, look below» — they claimed. No such window to log in! So I filed a complaint with them, and I have a formal complaint ready to be filed on Monday with the Attorney Generals office in Olympia, for consumer rights violations. I’ll update the outcome as soon as they resolve this. Update: now I’m told I’m holding my phone wrong and that I should hold it sideways. I did that. Still no log in window ! So I called back for a pdf file to be emailed instead. I was told«5 minutes». Half an hour and counting … … … Here’s more: Why is it unjust when you refused to accommodate my night shift hours and meet me a little later? You knew I worked from 7pm till 6am, and I couldn’t meet you at 10:00. Then you choose to change that to 11:00 because it suited you better, only after I went through major expenses. I had to fly my wife up here from Orange County, last minute, to please your schedule. Refund her airfare and I’ll withdraw the Unilocal!report, and(bonus!) withhold the complaint with the Attorney Generals’ office tomorrow. Deal ? You email threads were barren and your website was falsely advertised as the portal to the e-copy. Further more you never disclosed to me that the report was electronic and defaulted to that method without my acceptance, or consent … despite customary reports being provided in hard copy. That was done by you just to save you the cost of printing and mailing the report. That was deceptive. Now I’m pissed, I’m wasting time on your incompetence !!
