Stayed here for valentine’s day, had a really wonderful time! The room and the whole house were so beautiful and cozy. My favorite part was probably the big jetted tub in the room :) The hosts, the amenities, the grounds, the walk down to the beach, the fancy breakfast, everything was great. I recommend this for a nice getaway.

Best bed in breakfast for any stay. Lovely home and grounds. Beautiful rooms with bath tubs making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. The couple that own the place are very sweet and knowledgeable. They even have kayaks to use and are just minutes from the refuge. Would absolutely stay here again and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Warm, relaxing and inviting. This B & B is what a B & B should be. The beds are very comfortable. Every room has a jetted tub. Towels are super plush. There are multiple places to «be», in the well appointed living room by a winter fire, in the library by a winter fire, in the small conservatory, on the patio, in the outside gazebo or in your room. There are plenty of books, magazines and games to distract if you want to stay in. The hosts are very helpful with activities and spoil you with coffee/hot chocolate brought to your room in the morning and a delicious 3-course breakfast that Linda makes with a focus on organic-local food. Both of the view rooms have the same view off of their separate decks. Relax and enjoy watching the wildlife in the cove. You won’t want to leave.

This is an experience my wife and I will never forget. The grounds, the rooms, the food, and the service here are of the highest caliber. If you are looking for a superb Bed and Breakfast in Olympia, the Inn at Mallard Cove is the defining experience!

Fantastic food. Beautiful view, home, and grounds. The innkeepers were both wonderful and quite interesting. My only regret is that we scheduled anything else while we stayed there. Try for at least 3 night’s stay and enjoy the small touches that make this a great experience.

I tried to book my parents stay here, but they were full up. However the owner was extremely nice and gave me a huge list of alternative places to try, including lots of details on what they are like! He told me about places I had never heard of, and clearly knows other local Inns/B&Bs very well! He has stayed at many of them and was able to tell me exactly what they were like, how(or if) they did breakfasts, etc. Amazing customer service that you rarely see now a days!

I have been fortunate to stay at the Inn at Mallard Cove twice on a business trip and the experience was far above any other hotel I have stayed at for work(I travel 50%+ of the time). If you’re traveling to Olympia, I strongly urge folks to opt for this B&B rather than a chain or larger hotel. Key features: 1. There is an extreme attention to detail in all services delivered. The owners are attentive to every need of their guests. My coworkers and I have stayed overall 3 times and each time we have found that something has been addressed to better meet our needs on the subsequent trip. 2. The innkeepers are extremely friendly and customer-oriented. 3. An amazing breakfast treat in the morning that differs each day. The last trip we had an apple, mint, currant and orange juice fruit salad coupled with organic waffles and blackberries but it has varied each time. 4. The three bedrooms are unique and beautiful. The two front rooms look directly over the Puget Sound. The third has a beautiful view of the gardens. 5. Beautiful handmade lavender soap is provided to guests. 6. The bed mattresses and bedding make for a luxurious night of sleep. 7. The Inn looks over the Puget Sound — it’s beautiful! The common space is also comfortable for both relaxation to occur as well as work. The fireplaces are great in the late fall/winter.
