I went here to fish quite a bit as a kid with my dad. I always had a good time and we always caught at least two fish. We mostly caught bass and occasionally trout. It is a nice lake to fish and it has a decent boat launch. It’s not too crowded and is a nice lake to bring a beginner fishing. The address above is for the boat launch. There is also Ward Lake Park attached to the lake. This undeveloped park is located at 2008 Yelm Hwy SE Olympia, WA98501.
