I received a recommendation to use this company from a friend who had a great experience during her wedding, so take my review with the knowledge that it’s possible my experience is unique. I can’t speak to the pricing because I only looked at this company for my wedding flowers(because of my friend’s glowing recommendation). My bad experience was also possibly due to a personality clash, as I am a detail-oriented person. All other vendors were fine with my personality and were very helpful with creativity and brainstorming. This was not the case with this vendor. My detail-oriented nature resulted in her being very nervous to work with me and even saying she wasn’t sure she wanted to. I am NOT that bad, you can see from my Unilocal review history, I am usually very happy with people. You would think in the flower industry and working with brides, you would be used to pleasing people with all types of personalities. Essentially, because of this, she would not be creative at all. She wanted an EXACT picture of the flower layout to copy for the bouquets(I searched the internet nonstop, and was thankfully successful at finding a picture) and she sent me the link to her flower vendor’s website to pick out the EXACT shades of roses I wanted. First, it is incredibly hard for me, a floral novice, to be able to pick the correct shades that would go well together. Second, I would be fine with doing this, if she was giving me her opinion and helping with the vision along the way. She didn’t want to help at all with this, I had to do it all myself(and that added to the laundry list of wedding to-dos was really stressful). When I tried to brainstorm with her about the flowers, all I got was a lecture about how wedding flowers aren’t that big of a deal in the grand scheme of life… I don’t need a mom, I need a florist. The funny thing is, after looking around the internet, I found out that what I was asking for was NOT unique. Monochromatic pink bouquets are quite common for florists, and that is all I was asking for… a monochromatic pink bouquet with three shades of pink ranging from light to medium. It was so hard for me to do this alone… choosing the correct shades/hues that coordinate well with each other was difficult because I was basing everything on an IMAGE on a website never having seen ANY of these flowers in person and because I’m NOT a florist. My friend that majored in art help me choose corresponding hues, lol. The day of the wedding, the arrangement and shades were perfect! That is a big plus! Unfortunately, the flowers weren’t in great shape. The roses had brown spots all over them… I understand flowers can’t be perfect… but all my roses had lots of brown spots, and looked old. Thankfully, I don’t think you will be able to see this in pictures and if you do, photoshop will help. Another issue was that I specifically asked for her to not have any green on the peonies for the cake(I asked for no greenery in anything, so it’s easy to remember). I even paid for extra peonies so that it would be full enough on the cake sans greenery. I see the cake, and each peony has greenery, *sigh*. The peonies on the cake and in the floating centerpieces were pretty(we placed these ourselves). Her advice for floating the peonies was incorrect also, we had serious issues weighing them down as a result. Summary: Pros: Can copy a picture of a bouquet very well with very good arrangement, on time, reasonably priced, listens well to most details(such that the numbers and specifics of boutonnières and corsages were right, etc.) Cons: Not good with detail-oriented brides(stressful/frustrating to work with), not helpful(with vision or creativity), flowers were not super fresh, didn’t follow through on all details
