My girlfriend’s house was cold called by Tom Sceals. She listened, kept his card and told him no thanks. Later she had him come look at replacing a door to the garage. It was a custom door and she decided no and again, told him no thanks.
I can’t remember if we called Tom or he stopped by again but regardless we were in need of some new windows. Tom setup an evening appointment and came over to our house. He explained their business, window technology, and what they could offer. He measured what our windows and gave us an estimate. We sat on the offer for several days and decided to replace just 4 windows. About 3 weeks later the custom windows had arrived and were installed in just a couple of hours.
We’re very happy with the windows. They were more expensive than your ordinary cheapo windows but the quality is great. Easy to clean, quiet, good action and energy efficient. Looking at getting more (8+) from him this year.
Tom is quirky, but a great guy once you get to know him. He calls on us about once a year and remembers all sorts of details about our lives, jobs, even our cat’s name. Great personal service. He is a no pressure kind of guy.
Tom checks up on the job after it has been complete to make sure everything went well. He’s got several photo albums of jobs with happy customers.
