Food is terrible. Closes to early on week nights. Go carts took over 30 minutes to wait to ride which cut into our 1.5 hour time limit for games. Alot of times cards didnt work for games. For the total of $ 130 this place cost 4 of us it is COMPLETELYNOTWORTHIT. ITS A GIMIC. DONTCOMEHERE.

I guess I came on a really good day because I didn’t have any problems at all. We happened to stumble upon this place while driving through town and it was amazing. The food wasn’t bad. After all, it is a discount buffet and I wouldn’t expect a gourmet meal. It was edible and I would totally eat it again. We paid for the unlimited buffet and rides for $ 20, I believe. It was a really good price and the selection of rides is pretty good for what we bought. The games were semi pricey. It’s between a putt putt arcade and Dave-N-Busters. If you have a couple of hours to kill, I definitely recommend coming here. I guess we enjoyed this place a little too much for being 20 something year olds!

The reason for the low rating was their ridiculous military discount policy! My fiancé described this place as «Chuckie Cheese on steroids» … and that is pretty accurate!!! Tons of games and rides for the kids. The only thing that disappointed me was the buffett… it doesn’t seem like they are using valentinos pizza anymore and if they are… SHAME on valentinos for going downhill. This place is a little $$$$. Also, I wasn’t too impressed with the military discount. They stated that the discount was only for active duty military… Umm… So RETIRED military that gave 20 – 30 years of their life to protect the USA are not provided a discount($ 5 card). So a person who is active(possible for 1 or 2 years)… gets a discount but my fiancé who is retired gets nothing…

Took the grandkids here for a the littlest one’s 4th bday. Good food… and lot’s of it. We went on a weekday, so there were no lines for games or rides… lots of these also. As with all amusement establishments, to make sure you get your money’s worth, plan to stay a while so the children can experience all the games and rides. The only thing I noticed that I did not care for was a lady spraying a bottle of chemical cleaner directly on the nozzles of the soda machine. I appreciate a clean place, but I would rather not drink cleaning solution. 4 stars because… and this is important: Nearly none of the rides(go carts, bumper cars, etc.) can be safely utilized by children the size of a 4 years-old or younger. We did not know this in advance, and the girl selling us the package did not mention this even though she put a wristband right on the 4 year-old. We went to ride after ride with the little one watching everybody else have fun while he just stood there. After 15 minutes we realized this was going to be the theme of the day, so we asked for a refund for the ride package, which they did give us.

Awesome place for kids and with food that is better than other places. Seriously. No, it’s not going to be amazing food. But it’s better than so many other places I’ve been. This is a place for kids and the food is geared toward a child’s palate. Yes, I think that the red sauce could substitute for catsup, but I have a highly attenuated sensitivity to sweet, more so than a lot of others. This isn’t horrible, just the way things are. If you don’t like the red sauce, get something that doesn’t use it. Duh. There’s always alfedo sauce or, in a pinch, Italian dressing and shredded cheese to put on your pasta. Salad bars are hard to screw up. Eat some salad along with some soup or chili and you’ll be fine. Again, this isn’t an adult restaurant, stop expecting it to be what it’s not. The games work using a game card that you pre-load with funds. The cards also keep track of your points/tickets. You can save up your points or just blow it on little simple things. We took our 3 year old who had a blast failing at nearly every game she played, but still walked out with two glow sticks(okay, the points we racked up in skeeball helped). There are rides and games for all ages including laser tag and bumper cars along with video games requiring some skill so your teenagers will tolerate having to join the family on an outing. The food is acceptable and the buffet is reasonably priced. I liked the kid-friendly atmosphere and our kid really enjoyed herself which makes this place a win in my book. It’s good family fun. No, not cheap family fun, but fun for a night or a special occasion. And there’s beer to make everything less horrible if you were dragged along with the family.

I really want to like this place better. Being that it is so close to us, we could literally walk there. I’m not a fan of how they make you pay for the buffet in order to play the games. Most times, my kiddo could careless about the food, he just wants to play! I also don’t like how the food area is sooo far from the play area. I wish it was set up more like Dave and Busters, where you can sit in the game area and enjoy your food/drinks all at once. The food I don’t think is bad. Not for an arcade/game place. I do like the salad bar. This place is VERY expensive! I don’t like how their packages are set up and you have to pay extra for the big stuff. When we do go, I end up spending a minimum of $ 60 – 80 and I only have ONE child! I can’t imagine the cost for bigger families. We had gone one time and only wanted to ride the go carts. They wouldn’t let us. Said we had to buy the buffet in order to enjoy any of the games/rides. I guess they don’t like money! Overall, I’m definitely not a fan of this place. Way overpriced and we don’t always necessarily want to eat!

I’m a big kid at heart, and I am not lying whe I say The Amazing Pizza Machine is one of my favorite places in Omaha. Do I go for the food? No, of course not. Its a buffet inside of a giant arcade. Obviously the food isn’t going to be winning any prizes any time soon. But for what it is(pizza, hot dogs, baked potatoes, etc), it still isn’t bad. We always«splurge» for the package pricing for the kiddos. Just the buffets for us. On average, my family of four spends a little under $ 100. But we usually stay for hours, and everyone has a blast. It gets busy on Saturdays, and the lines for the go-karts gets insane. That is pretty much my biggest complaint. The dining areas get busy, but we’ve never had an issue finding a clean table nor with selection on the buffet. The kids just love the place. They do everything, from Mario Kart races to air hockey to the go-karts. It is one of those places that we only visit once or twice a year, but each visit has been amazing and my kids always keep talking about it until we visit again!

came here for arcade fun and wasn’t disappointed at all. not sure if people expect gourmet food but it’s exactly what you pay for! the place is huuuuge! recommend the tiny bowling, though without bumpers it’s a bit hard.

Food is pretty bad. It’s geared toward children’s tastes. However, the buffet is included with the cost of entry, so if you’re going to be here you might as well eat the food for which you’ve already paid. They do have a small alcohol(beer) selection hidden in the back. There are also a lot of games and whatnot here. Typical arcade games you play for points/tickets that you can use to purchase prizes. Basically, drop $ 40 playing games and earn enough tickets to purchase prizes worth $ 1.50. If you’re coming here it’s probably to make your kids, not yourself, happy. So, choke down the food and enjoy the smiles on your kids faces.

I have been here several times and this last time takes it all. Food is getting worse but cleanliness is awful. Around the buffets and in the dining rooms keeping the area clean is not a priority for them. They need to hire more staff and make them friendly and helpful. Rides are fine.

I hadn’t been the to Amazing Pizza Machine in years and was even surprised it was still open as I don’t hear anyone talking about it. I was invited to a friend’s son’s birthday dinner. He chose APM — he’s 14. When we walked in it looked like it had some promise of a good time. However, at 6:30 we wondered if it was even open because we didn’t see anyone. We paid and went directly to the buffet. Here’s what we experienced: 1. The pasta bar was a mess. Dry pasta was on the counters and the pans were empty except for a couple of crusty pieces of pasta. The meat sauce was empty and messy. 2. There were 2 pieces of pizza on the pizza bar. The rest were empty plates. 3. The misc. section —(French fries, chicken tenders) was empty. I never did see any chicken tenders — which I think were promoted as «Wing Night». 4. We sat in the cartoon dining room. As I joined my party a strong scent of dirty bathroom was obvious. I felt like I was eating in a rest stop on the side of the interstate. 5. Never did we see any staff in the dining room other than the 2 people working in the kitchen. 6. Then we went to the game area. Games were not very exciting. There are a lot of adults that go with their children so why not have some good old school games — I only saw Ms. Pac man. 7. As I was playing Ms. Pac man I could hear an employee yelling something to the riders of the ride that goes in a circle. I honestly thought she was trying to be fun with the riders but I found it to be very annoying. I even walked over there to listen to what she was saying but I couldn’t understand her. 8. The bathrooms were disgusting. I actually walked in and walked back out and left to avoid using the bathroom. 9. As I walked out I walked past two employees at the front desk who looked right at me and didn’t say a thing, at least they could have apologized for the horrible experience. 10. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know about the crap hole that APM is. 11. I went to the APM website to leave a comment but the website did not allow me to enter anything other the time and date I was there. The rest of the questions were grayed out.

This place is for children. Hundreds of children. ha ha. In that respect, it is a pretty cool place for kids. Many many games and activities for them to do. Lots of birthday parties taking place there. Usualky crowded. The food is all buffet and includes a lot of pizza. There are a lot of other items to select such as salad bar, pasta bar, taco bar and potatoe bar. All the food is ok. .nothing bad but just basic mass produced food.

This could be described as a kiddie casino with a few small attractions. I’ve been here several times since they’ve opened for business, and I have to say that it isn’t a bad experience overall. The price of admission into the place includes unlimited buffet. They also sell«packages» that bundle rides, video/ticket games, and attractions(go-karts, mini golf, etc). Yes, an outing to this place can be very expensive the more people in your group. If it were me, I’d go to Dave & Buster’s instead, but that’s more adult-oriented. Bottom line, regardless of the weather, you can eat and play under one roof. The buffet food is palatable, albeit«kid» food. I usually load up on their salad bar, which reduces the desire to gorge on the pizza and pasta, but I usually partake in the junk food to some degree. There’s usually no shortage of seating, either. Everything in the buffet and dining area is totally self-service. The gaming area is vast, and for the most part, the equipment is clean and maintained. You will see the occasional outdated video game with a failing screen, which they should address, but they’re usually few and far between. The mini golf area is crammed into a corner of the facility, so it isn’t very engaging. The ticket redemption area has the usual crap that costs a lot of tickets. Rule of thumb: The house always wins! If you get annoyed by loud noise, stay away from this place. Otherwise, I’d say that, if you want to go where the kids don’t turn their noses up at the food, and can run around and expel some energy, it will cost you, but it’s not a bad place overall.

First of all so many of the negative reviews on here focus on the food. Well no surprise the food is not the number one attraction here. But I think there’s more value for the money here than at a place like Valentino’s. For our family we spent a few more bucks here than we would at a place like Val’s, we all ate and got to play games for an hour. Good deal in my book. So no surprise the pizza is not that great. But they actually have a pretty decent salad bar. Everything was clean, well stocked and fairly fresh. That’s actually more than I can say about my last trip to Val’s! So the food is what it is… you don’t come here for the food! I was worried that having small children 5 and 2, that there would not anything to interest them here. That was not the case there is even plenty to do for small children. The game area is busy but I found it to be clean and felt confident in my children’s safety. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. So take this place for what it is, and as an adult… it’s not for you! It’s for the kids, and my kids… LOVED it!

While dining on disgusting, overly processed«food,» I noticed that one of the dining room attendants was talking to herself. She was speaking in another language and laughing. After she walked by us a few times to bus tables, I noticed she had a wired earpiece«hidden» behind her long hair. The cord ran down the inside of her shirt and was plugged into the cell phone in her back pocket. We left the dining area and went to play some games; later on my son wanted ice cream so we returned to the dining area. The same attendant was talking«to herself» and laughing on the phone, but this time she had pulled a chair from one of the tables into a corner and had boxed herself in with the bus cart in front of her. I found it extremely unprofessional and rude for her to be on the phone the entire time we were in the dining room. Not once, but twice, we sat in that dining room and both times, she was on the phone the entire time. I did not see a manager during my visit, and I wasn’t about to go out of my way in front of my child to find one, either. I sent an email to Amazing Pizza Machine, but I have yet to hear back from them(3+ weeks). I can’t imagine a dining room attendant would be allowed to use their cell phone during a shift, but I guess I’ll never know…

I don’t know what to say about this place really. We brought the kiddos here on Christmas Eve, for some last minute outing time before the holidays,(since we don’t celebrate Christmas, we wanted to do something nice for them). and we got here around 2:00pm-ish and by then, the food was already put away. The place was trashy, and they got to ride the roller coaster thing only once. They were not even close to closing time, and the bratty girl working the ride told them to find something else to do when they got back in line for a second round. Seriously? Not only was it Christmas Eve,(that alone USUALY puts people in a good mood…)but the place was not even crowded, and this girl was acting like her job was so horrible and she couldn’t bear to stand there for an extra 45 seconds and push a darn button!!! All of the other rides were shut down, and they only had the arcade games. Our kiddos are kind of young to really get the arcade games, so we wasted 80 some dollars on those cards because we are NOT going back after that kind of service. What also sucks is that was our very first time going there ever. If your first impression doesn’t impress me, then you lose my interest AND business, quick!

Time To Get My Kid On… Lol!!! Stopped here on a family outing few weeks ago. Places of this sort add up because I’m such a big kid, I will keep charging my play card til I’m broke lol almost. Any how when we first got there we decided to eat first, now I know this is a kids place, but the food sucked and was overly fattening. But what I did enjoy were the different themed rooms. There’s a sports room, a movie room, a old school karaōke type room, and I think a fiesta type room, I forget, but its very cool for the kids. Now the games on the other hand are ok, but to play a decent game it takes from 4 – 8 points which adds up very quickly. I guess this place is ok, but they need better games, definitely not a place I’d bring a toddler more than a hand full of times. But the point was spending time with my family, so I enjoyed myself, o yea probably won’t be back, but watv.

The food here is just plain awful. Barely edible. Kids don’t care because they eat it as fast as they can so they can get to the games. Unfortunately, adults want to take more time to savor their food, and you won’t get to do that here. But the hook here is that you HAVE to get the buffet to get in to play the games. Our friends host birthday parties here, and that’s what gets us in the door. Otherwise, we would never go back.

From the name only, I had such positive expectations for this place. Upon arrival, I immediately got the sense that it was designed to suck money out of my pockets, at the expense of cleanliness and quality for the highest margins possible their way. In terms of pricing — the buffet is all you can eat food and beverages — about $ 9 — pretty reasonable for all you can eat. No one get’s in w/out buying the food — that’s admission if you do nothing else. There are multiple entertainment options: video games, ticket games, token games and rides. We selected a discount package available to us as a «sports team» group. For $ 19 per person, we got the unlimited buffet, plus 1HOUR of unlimited video, ticket and rides(no token games). Upon entering, we sat in a sports themed room. The design of this is nice — there is a central cafeteria serving all the food and drinks, and at least for connecting rooms of tables for sitting and eating — this is nicer experience than one large open seating area — accommodating the different types of groups(birthdays, sports teams, etc…). The food was decent — what you’d expect for the price and the high volume pushing through. After eating it was to the games. The Video Games are in pretty shoddy shape. I attempted to use many that were just old and in need of repair — video screens with major color or shift issues — large amounts of «double vision» etc… that made use pretty difficult. The ticket games were okay — though no tickets spit out, they keep track on your power card. That’s kind of cool in a way, but it eliminates that experience of having a ton of tickets spit out of a machine when you do something great! The mini«glow golf» was a good idea, but it’s basically 9-holes crammed in a really small space with some black lighting. The inside go-kart track is a great idea, and the karts look fast and fun, but the course is teeny. In short, lots of positive about the concept — but the investments are very poor. I’d be more than happy to pay their rates and recommend, if I felt the upkeep were appropriate. Instead, it comes off very disingenuous. It’s about profit, not about fun for kids and adults. Unless you have NO other options, I say… pass.
