Avant Salon & Day Spa

I just had a pedicure at Avant and overall it was a good experience. I love Aveda products and know they aren’t cheap, but $ 50 for a basic pedicure (60 min) still seemed pretty pricey. I’ve had other very luxurious pedicures at spas around the same price range, but they did a lot more in that hour. So for me, the value wasn’t quite there. I did enjoy the service immensely, but I just felt it should have entailed more.
The pedicure included a heel buffing, sugar and salt scrub, moisture mask with hot towels, a quick massage, and the nail color. My technician clearly had some massage training, which is more than I can say for pedicurists I’ve had at other places. I would have loved a paraffin dip, a heel or foot mask, hot stones, callus removal, reflexology, or a longer massage.
Their nail services are in a quieter room in the back of the salon, away from the noisier hair care area bustling with chitchat and blow driers. I appreciated this… it helped me relax.
Another thing I enjoyed was the Aveda make up station available for clients to peruse and try on products. This is a great way for women to test something out, and of course it was great fun.
The staff were all pleasant and professional. I received good service all around.

Terrific spot! I had a facial with Alicia today, and she is superb! It was perfect! She was timely, efficient, and created a very relaxing atmosphere. She even gave me a cute little sample of under-​eye cream to try. My folks both got massages, and the masseuse was very accomodating and friendly. This place seems to be more of a salon than spa, but regardless I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! You can’t go wrong with an Aveda concept salon, and this place did not disappoint. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about, but it hardly seemed like a good enough reason to ruin this place’s five-​star rating.

Very friendly atmosphere and very clean. Offered me a drink while I waited. Stylist listened to what I wanted and my hair looks awesome. Not cheapest place for a haircut but you get great service and a great cut for your money. Definitely will be back.

I have been going to Avant Salon for about a year now, and couldn’t be happier with the service and atmosphere! Kim does a great job on my hair and my kids hair, and is so very sweet and thoughtful. Wonderful place!
