For some reason, even after multiple visits, I continue to be hopeful that it will get better each time. Nope. Being in the service industry myself, I may hold bars to a bigger standard than most, but poor service and rude staff is hard overlook for anybody. It’s a shame because this bar is so close to my house and the prices are great, but the bartenders steer me away each time. If you are miserable serving people, it’s time to look for a new job! My review is solely based off of service, you can’t really mess up a beer order! Although I have never tried the food, to their credit, I have heard it isn’t terrible. I can’t say I won’t be back, I’m sure I will, I just hope one day the employees will step up a little to make the experience more enjoyable.

Everytime we come here we think it’ll be better only because it’s so close to our house… but no. The bartenders are always rude and they close early if you’re not a regular.

Been 15 years since I’ve been here, back in the Omaha Softball days but it seems to be the same olé average bar that is has been since it opened. Nothing spectacular, just your typical neighborhood bar.

This place is one to stay away from. Tried going there the other night AFTER calling them to make sure they would still be open. Me and my friends arrive 5 minutes after calling them and they locked the doors and watch us stand outside. Food is horrible, environment is trashy and the bartenders are rude. Hopefully they turn this bar into a actual reputable business in the near future or a parking lot if Omaha is lucky.

Every day I can see Boondockers across the street from my office… but for whatever reason we haven’t gone here for lunch before. But I just got back from $ 0.40 taco Tuesday, and I’m hooked. We almost had the place to ourselves while several large TVs played various ESPN stations. A local oldies station blared over the sound system and we ordered… the guys each got 6 tacos and I had 2.
We also got a large basket of fries and an order of 12 giant wings to share. $ 20 for four people… oh yeah. Next time I’m getting 6 and we’ll exclude the side items. $ 2.40 lunch on Tuesdays, here I come. They also have sand volleyball, karaōke apparently, golf outings, etc. I could see myself going here on more of a regular basis from now on.
