Center Ace Hardware

Hey it is what it is! They do have a few old people working there that know a thing or two but the modern American HW store is there for the DIY type that doesn’t mind paying 2 or 3 times what industrial supply places charge or even the Big Box stores!
BTW; they recently added micro machine screws to that dept but once again you’ll pay like $.35 for a screw that an industrial supply charges $.04 for!

Terrible excuse for a hardware store. Nothing is organized, the employees know less then I do about the products. And have the managers gone missing?
I came in wanting at look at the drills and wasn’t sure what the ¾″ and ½″ meant on the box. After three different employees later, finally Jeff knew that it’s the chuck size of the drill. Did it really need to take three people to figure that out though?
Another instance is when I came in looking for a plumb bob. Again one guy had to ask Jeff what it was, and Jeff immediately knew what and where it was, and even how to use it. I will say that he is very knowledgeable in a lot of the items there.
I also hear he got fired, don’t know why he was there best employee. Everyone else just sits at the counter and talks. Well one things for sure, they fired him they also lost a good customer.
