Great subs! You order your sand which,(small, regular, large) get your drink, The meat/veggies are cooked in front of you and they add cold veggies and any condiments at the end you request. Very good! Meat is tender, fresh veggies, bread wasn’t old or stale in any way. Fries are good, chili is not my cup of tea, wouldn’t order them again but the cheese made up for it. Coke products which seems to be the norm in omaha, but the fountain drinks weren’t high in the chlorine taste like most omaha fountain drinks. So that’s a plus for me! I would love to return when in the area again

great food but workers were more interested in talking to themselves than paying attention to customers

Charleys is one of the best places in the food court! Philly cheese steak is really good, a little pricey for the portion but they have punch cards! Im aaaaalllllllll about the punch cards. Also they have that really good lemonade if you know what i mean.

Charley’s Grilled Subs in located inside the food court of the Westroads mall, surrounded by your typical Taco Bell fare and Japanese places. Despite it’s location in a mall, they serve surprisingly good subs and french fries here. Much better than the Subway perched just across the court. Though we have been here a few times, we had to stop in tonight after my well planned dinner turned into a disaster consisting of the worst pizza dough I have ever made, and I’ve made a lot of pizza dough. Sometimes kitchen disasters happen and I was ravenously hungry, so Charley’s it was. The buffalo chicken sandwich is quite tasty, but you must leave off the onions in my opinion. They also have tasty fries which have always been fresh. After they cook your sandwich on the grill you get to choose your toppings and sauces, typical of many sub places. Since they don’t make your sandwich until you’ve order it always comes hot off the grill for you. The downside is that this place is very pricey, but most food court fare seems to be. It is around $ 8 for the small sized sandwich, fries, and a drink. I also wish they had a smaller sized fry as it’s a bit too much to eat if I don’t have anyone to share them with. I also like that they have a ketchup pump. Yes, a ketchup pump. You see, I am convinced that ketchup packets are devices only invented to frustrate and infuriate hungry fast food goers. If you can get those little greasy packets to tear open you’ll be rewarded with ½ teaspoon of tomatoey goodness inside. I like ketchup dispensers. I like ketchup. Don’t worry I leave it off hotdogs though, so we can be cool. So, bottom line if you’re i the mall or have experienced a kitchen disaster like I had tonight, stop into Charley’s and grab a buffalo chicken sub.
