I am biased towards Creighton – they are the reason that my twin boys exist! Dr. Paupoo, their reproductive endocrinologist/infertility specialist, diagnosed me with endometriosis before even examining me. He was very patient and even booked an appointment(that ended up running over two hours long) just to answer my questions about the surgery. He was patient and encouraging as we went through two IUIs, the second of which worked! We remained in his care until around 9 weeks into the pregnancy, when we switched to Dr. Kovilam. If you are having multiples in the Omaha area, you NEED to see Dr. Kovilam. She is highly experienced with twins and we felt reassured knowing she has seen it all. It is largely because of her that I was able to avoid a C section, when many doctors would most likely push for one for twin pregnancies. She was willing to attempt to turn Baby B if he was breech or pull him out by his feet(she actually did this for a friend just a few weeks before our boys were born). Even more importantly, she is so sweet and always gushed about how cute the boys were even when they were just blips on a sonogram. You would think that after dealing with babies for so long that you would get tired of them, but she genuinely seems to enjoy her job. We owe so much to Dr. Paupoo and Dr. Kovilam and their staff! I would recommend them to anyone.

This hospital was unlike any I have ever been to before. I had two surgeries here and everyone from my nurses to food service person to housekeeping was exceptionally warm and caring. It was so comforting to be with people who weren’t jaded by healthcare and genuinely empathized with what you were going through. I can’t recommend highly enough.

This review is to review the hospital. I had surgery done here because my endocriniologist didn’t like the fact that I was going to have outpatient surgery somewhere else, so I agreed to have my surgery done here because they could watch me overnight. First of all, in preop, the nurse was not to friendly at all and noticed her nursing care was not up to par. I mean, when she hooked up my fluids to the IV in my hand, she didn’t even clean the hub. I’m pretty sure most nurses learn the same basic things in nursing school! Well, I thought to myself, maybe it’s just her. Well, I was wrong. During my overnight stay, I barely noticed any of the nurses wash their hands, clean the hub of my IV before hooking anything up to it, or wearing gloves to do anything with the IV. Seriously! Well, these nurses were VERY nice, but still. If that’s what nursing care is like here, I will definitely not have any surgery done here again. I’m scared! Imagine if I were to have stayed longer than one night what kinds of infections I would have gotten! Yuck.
