Great beer selection, for a smaller bar. Friendly staff. The Bloody Mary on Sunday’s is great as well.

Crossbones is a great little South O bar with a craft beer focus. Plus they regularly host live music and there’s never a cover.
If you ever enjoyed the Brass Monkey in its heyday, you’ll feel right at home at Crossbones (it is in the same building, after all). The layout hasn’t changed but the beer selection has been upped a few notches, to say the least. I was there on a Wednesday night and was more than happy with the drink specials — local craft pints were $ 3.50, including a fantastic sour from the folks at C.I.B. The other special was $ 5 flights. With four 5 oz. pours that’s one hell of a deal.
On top of that I enjoyed some great live music. If they wrangled up a taco truck to park across the street, I might never have left.

Wow super impressed with this place. Huge selections of beers with beer flights at only 6 bones. Great design and newly remodeled. This used to be the brass monkey. It looks great now great drink selection, great beer selection and great specials. Reminds me somewhat of jakes in benson. Plan a night here you wont regret it. Try the cib «strawberry tart» and dopplebock on your flight!
