What a great place! I used to frequent Cunningham’s when it was Pacific street and I can’t get away. Love going here! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable of beer and food. I will obviously come back again.

This was our first time at the new location which I don’t think is all that new anymore. We came here for a little later than usual dinner. One of the NHL final games was on and blasting at max volume. It’s a good thing I enjoy screaming at my husband while sitting a foot away from him! This is definitely a bar. Their beer menu was great. I had a 16oz Zipline Copper Alt. It was interesting and very good. Unfortunately this was the best part of our visit. I had the blackened chicken sandwich with fries. It is supposed to be their #1 sandwich. It is a grilled chicken breast with pepper jack cheese, bacon, and chipotle aioli. One half of the sandwich was good, the other half was tasteless. Bizarre I know. The only thing I could figure out is the blackened seasoning that was on the chicken was caked on one half and nonexistent on the other. The fries were good. They were cooked just right and had a good seasoning on them. My husband ordered the pepper burger. It comes with fresh jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, pepper bacon, and a red pepper aioli. He said it packed quite a hot punch and he loves heat! I will not mention our servers name, but suffice to say she was one of the worst we have had. Every part of the meal was a struggle, from getting refills, to placing the order, to getting the bill. Not only that, but she was not friendly at all. I don’t think she cracked a smile the entire time. I will say that they were pretty busy for a weeknight at 8:00pm and to me it looked like she was the only server. However, when you have a major game going on and you also have your patio open, you need to be prepared and have more people there. That’s on the owners/manager. Every time I looked around for our server though she was nowhere to be seen so I don’t really know where she was or what was going on. What I do know is I liked the other location much better as it had a separate space for those who didn’t want to eat in the bar. We will not be returning here as it was a terrible experience and we left highly disappointed. I like to support local owned establishments, but places like this make it very difficult to do so.

Very plain from the outside, but nice on the inside. I passed it for a long time, and never noticed it. The wings in the teriyaki sauce are great(and cheap during happy hour). Great service too.

This place was really good and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I had the fish po’boy and it was awesome. Not sure what exactly was in their fish sauce, but it had a little kick which was nice.

Wow, SMOKEDCHICKENWINGS!!! Awesome. I never had them smoked and they were fantastic. Great bar, beer selection and servers. I also ordered the pretzel bite with the cheese, outstanding as well, I can’t wait to get back to Omaha, just for this place.

Cunninghams has a great variety on the menu. I happened to go on Saint Patrick’s day when there was a modified menu. This modified menu didn’t accommodate a gluten free person or have a salad option. The service was quick and efficient. The staff was kind and complimentary on a very busy day. Fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful restaurant.

Had to stop and post a review of Cunningham’s PB&J wings. I am not big on trying new things but my coworkers talked me into ordering the PB&J wings. These are amazing! They have more of a peanut flavor than jelly. The wings overall had a great smokey flavor. I would definitely order these again!

Cunningham’s is our after work go-to thanks to its close proximity to our Omaha office. Truth be told, when I’m working out of our Omaha office, there’s so many other places I’d rather go than Cunningham’s, but precedent often overrules me. There’s nothing particularly wrong with Cunningham’s, but when I come to Omaha, I like to try and experience things I wouldn’t normally find back in NJ. Cunningham’s, for better or worse, is akin to a TGI Friday’s, Applebee’s, Bennigan’s — or any of those types of chain restaurants. You can count on decent bar food coming out of the fryer that you can wash down with a cold beer or simple cocktail. Nothing to write home about, but fine for getting everyone together after work for a quick happy hour before heading home.(Or in my case, back to the hotel.)

My boyfriend and I stopped in Omaha to split up our trip home to Colorado. We had a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They closed their kitchen early due to an incoming blizzard and wanted most of their staff to return home safely. We were starving and about to leave, but the bar manager ended up frying us up some delicious wings and fries because the fryers hadn’t cooled off yet. The deep fried mushrooms were amazing too if you like mushrooms! The wings were plump, crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. There was a brown sugar seasoned rub on some they brought out that was to die for! The drinks were great to! If you like craft beer they have a really great selection to choose from. It seemed they had a lot of new craft beer options with multiple rotating taps. We also ended up catching the last half of the bronco/patriot game with the broncos defeating the patriots in the last minute! Couldn’t have been a better experience =] We’ll be back if we ever find ourselves in Omaha again!

Well… That was disappointing! Stopped in here while on a business trip. The pretzel bites? Flavorless and served with the world’s smallest cup of cheese. Ordered a burger — also tiny — that was so overlooked it was almost unrecognizable. Come here for the potent drinks only and don’t bother with the lackluster food.

Simply put I LOVE Cunningham’s. Excellent food and tons of TVs makes for a great game day experience! Love their expansive beer menu and their monthly tap take overs too!

Wow! What great food and I can’t hardly believe this place has been open since 2010 and I had never heard about it. Janet Yellen had the swiss and mushroom burger with onion rings. She demolished it in record time. Proof positive that she has fully recovered from her fainting incident. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. Very tasty, with the right amount of spices and juicy to boot. The cole slaw was just right. Plenty of screens for all sorts of sporting events with signs taped under the screen so you know what you are watching. Special props for the sound deadening materials placed in the metal ceiling. They seemed to help. Yellen thought the tab was a bargain. The food is way, way better than the average sports bar.

Cleanliness 4 Service 5 Food Quality 4 Likelihood 5 1 – 5(5 Best!) 4.5 Dinner for 4 please. Our first time here. I was greeted quickly and shown to a table. This is a «sports bar»(BIG tv’s all the around the room) NOT too loud though, we could visit. Our server was INCREDIBLE! We NEVER had to ask, or want for anything. His rhythm and attention was spot on. I asked where else he had worked, he shared that this was his FIRST serving job. WOW! Its in the DNA!(I gave a 5 for service, if you read my reviews you will see that I don’t give that out too often at all!!!) The food was made from scratch, fresh, hot, and tasty. It was presented well, and certainly well received. LOL I had the bbq burger(hand pattied beef with bbq pork brisket on top) on pretzel bun. I ate half. Lunch tomorrow! The restrooms and restaurant was VERY clean. THANKYOU. See you soon…

I ate lunch in here on a Tuesday in August. It seems like this place got the food right and the beer selection right and everything else wrong. Service was friendly and attentive, but then they weren’t that busy and had plenty of staff on hand. They kept my iced tea full and that keeps me happy. I ordered the Pepper Burger. It was very good and made with fresh jalapeños(I’m am so tired of pickled and canned jalapeños everywhere). The burger was cooked to somewhere between a medium and a medium-well. That was refreshing. I get tried of being handed well-done burgers and almost no one asks how you want your burger cooked. Pretzel bun complimented it well. I opted out of the red pepper aioli(just fancy restaurant talk for flavored mayonnaise and I detest mayo). Overall, an excellent burger. It was served with homemade potato chips which were good, but not really warm. Generally, bagged chips are eaten at room temperature and homemade chips are eaten hot as they should have just come out of a ~375° fryer. My brother ordered their Sweet-N-Smoky Burger along with their Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. He liked both. My brother-in-law got their Patty Melt with Fries and enjoyed it. I had heard good things about their wings, but at 6/$ 7.50 and 12/$ 13 I couldn’t get anyone else at my table to commit to trying them with me in addition to the cost of our burgers. Maybe some other time when everyone is feeling more spendthrifty. The menu and the food definitely come off as high-end pub food(gastropub even), but the décor, the way the wait staff dress, the atmosphere, and everything else about this place just screams, «bar» and that really makes it hard to swallow their pricing. For example, their burgers, at lunchtime, run from $ 9.50 to $ 13.50. I have a hard time paying $ 13 for a burger in this place. It’s a tasty burger, but this just isn’t where I want to sit and eat a $ 13 burger. My brother and brother-in-law, who are both much cheaper than I, definitely thought it was overpriced for the experience. I may be back if I find myself near Old Mill at a mealtime, but I’m probably not going to go out of my way to eat here. It does look like a decent place to drink some craft beer, but I was here for a weekday lunch and had to go back to work after.

A little late getting caught on on reviews and this is an older one but I can still vividly remember Cunningham’s. There is some wonderful when one can find good bar food in a bar/pub and grill; when the food is transformed into a level beyond«bar food», the experience is very magical. The smoked wings were amazing and MUCH better than most deep fried — I can only think of one or 2 places in town that can compete. I also at the brats bites — PERFECT size, great flavor, well presented and just that extra level to detail that separate Cunningham’s from others in the category. I am looking forward to many more visits and exploring the menu a little deeper.

Their newer location is big… almost too big. I’d only been to their previous location a couple of times, but liked the atmosphere better. Aside from that… what I really went for was the reuben. I had lunch there on St. Patty’s Day, and although the crowd began pouring in, our service was pretty spot on! The reuben sandwich was simply delicious. I like how they shred the corned beef, then mix it together into their homemade thousand island sauce, then put it on the bread. Sure to get lots of dressing with each bite which makes it super moist. I also ordered a corned beef and cabbage dinner to go. After the great rueben I was pretty disappointed that evening when I opened up my dinner to find undercooked cabbage, a large cabbage core and corned beef full of gristle. Unedible. I did however enjoy the rueben for lunch so much that I went back the other night to have it for dinner. Very tasty. We ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for dessert. Sounded great but it came out fried which was not stated on the menu. Not a fan of fried food… wished I had known in advance. I’m sure I’ll be back again… likely for the rueben!

Everything on the menu seemed to be fried(minus salads) or greasy(basic pub food) and I wasn’t in the mood for that so decided to get the blackened chicken sandwich, which was apparently off the menu but then brought back on after customers demanded it– which is a good sign that they actually listen to what their customers want. Also had the soup of the day, Cajun cream chicken. Both the soup and sandwich were good. Not incredible but still pretty tasty. The soup was spicy and not as creamy as I expected. The sandwich: chicken was still tender and I enjoyed the chipotle aioli on it. The pepper bacon was a nice touch but I could’ve done without it. Service was great. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. seems like a great place to hang out after work or watch the game as they have several big screen tvs around the restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised by Cunningham’s. It’s located in an unassuming strip mall tucked under the expressway in Old Mill. Add in its generic Irish name and you have the type of place you honestly wouldn’t expect to be much more different from, say, a place like the Fox and Hound. But I had heard rumors about them having some excellent wings. So I got there and, first off, was highly impressed with their beer selection. Dozens of crafts on tap, including a high ABV sour(which, of course, I had to try — it was superb). For food, I ordered the peanut butter and jelly wings, which were essentially PB-battered fried wings that you dipped in a jelly sauce. They were honestly a little skimpy, but hey, some chickens are bigger than others. Big props to our server. He knew we were crunched for time as we were heading to Westroads to see a movie post dinner. I arrived a little later than the rest in my party and he promptly took my order as soon as I had a chance to browse the menu, and my wings and beer showed up in matter of minutes. Seriously, stellar service from the staff, especially considering it was a busy Friday night. I’m looking forward to going back and trying some other items off the menu. Plus, Cunningham’s has earned a spot on my list of places to stop for a quick beer or two when I’m out and about.
