Cute curb appeal. But really feel ripped off: no place to sit in the shop (young lady points to a slab of granite outside– outside temp was 30 degrees, thanks). She told us that there was another cupcake type just coming out of the kitchen. We waited excitedly. Grabbed one of them and another and took them over to the coffee shop across the street so we could sit down and eat them. Yikes! They were still frozen! Yes, that’s right. The «fresh new ones «just out of the kitchen were as fresh as frozen fishsticks! Cupcake! Get it together. Maybe Susan Buffett can help. (By the way, other reviews mentioned a young woman who «manages» the place. She was as described completely unhelpful and unfriendly. I noticed it too. Chris, she’s got to go or you are not gonna make it.)

You need a cupcake? Great want it to also be delicious? Kind of a mandatory for me. Favorite flavor? I want the all. The cupcakes here will fill all of your cupcake desires. And you will return again and again so save yourself some trouble and just get a bakers dozen.
Sweets 3.75 a piece, this place is worth a try if you are in the area. The front has a nice design with a pink and white cupcake to intise you in. They are also very conveniently located at 50th and dodge. So next time you are interested in some scrumptious cupcakes stop on in.

I bought 6 different cupcakes for my husband’s birthday, and they were very moist and flavorful. The frosting had great flavor, and just enough sweetness. Some of them also had a filling in the middle, too… bonus! Service was friendly and fast, I’ll definitely be back!

Terrible cupcakes. Bought two (red velvet and peanut butter) and ended up throwing both away after a couple bites. Overly sweet yet tasteless (is that even possible??). Plus no cream cheese frosting on the red velvet — deal breaker. I’ve had tastier cupcakes from a grocery store.

This is a cute little shop. A little bit off the beaten path. I’ve tried several of Omaha’s cupcake shops and I consider both locations of Cupcake! Omaha to have the best cupcakes. I especially like the chocolate. The service was fine the times I’ve been there.

I love Cupcake! Omaha in Old Market downtown and was so excited that there was a branch near me in Dundee. I’ve only been there 3 – 4 since March, and the cupcakes are just okay. But mostly I don’t go there because the teenage girl that has been working there, every time I go in, she is very unhelpful, not nice, and when my mom asked her which cupcake she recommended she stated «I don’t know, I hate sweets.» You’re selling cupcakes for goodness sakes!!! At least attempt to put a smile on, greet me when I enter the store, and be a smidgen cheerful. It’s been a month since I’ve been in that branch and she is absolutely the reason I don’t go there.

I met Chris Janicek at this branch to plan my son and daughter in law’s wedding cake. The cake order was wrong, Chris was very late (setting up while my guests were arriving). We ordered a special linen to be on the table, and it was not. No apologies, and will not return my messages.

Down in Dundee for lunch and saw that Cupcake! Omaha had opened a new branch. Only been open about two (2) months.
The menu offers about 20 different cupcakes on a regular basis as well as brownies, macaroons, and chocolate candies.
Cupcakes are $ 3.75 each. You get a $ 5.00 discount if you buy a dozen.
Our selection today included peanut butter, pink champagne, French vanilla strawberry, lemon raspberry, just vanilla, lemon, key lime and salted nut roll.
I’ve tried the lemon raspberry so far. Cake was decent sized and very moist. Good icing (I like a lot) with a raspberry jelly filling. The filling tasted just like that in a jelly donut. Cupcake was very good.
Not often on this side of town, but when we go back, Cupcake Omaha (Dundee) would be a good spot to stop for dessert.
