Eileen’s Colossal Cookies

They taste homemade and natural. Half of one was enough for me. My friend and I both got chocolate chip cookies and then I got a snicker doodle for my husband, with the intention of eating it but mine was so delicious and rich I ate half. Definitely can’t wait til we go back

I work at a school, and a student brought a box of these pretty little cookies in for us today. I was really excited because I’ve seen great reviews on Unilocal for Eileen’s cookies. First of all, they were ADORABLE! Santa clause, snow men, wreaths, etc. They were done very well, they really looked great.
The only flavor was sugar cookie. It was so moist and crumbly. The icing was silky smooth and just sweet enough. It had a flavor I couldn’t quite figure out, not a bad flavor though. And I’m not sure if it was the cookie or the icing. I tasted a hint of lemon maybe? I don’t think that was it, I dunno. It was good though! I would for sure go and grab some unique flavors to try, or even a chocolate chip cookie. I’m excited to go take a look at what they have!

I have never been disappointed in the frost job, taste, and service! Eileen’s cookies is my go to, no matter what location, I have been impressed.

I grew up in Grand Island and the Eileens that opened there in 1987 was much loved by me. I loved their cookies especially the oatmeal chocolate chip. when I was looking for dessert ideas on Unilocal Eileens popped up. YUM. two dozen mixed for $ 10 total? yes thank you. so far I’ve had the chocolate chip but truly a delicious cookie still. the people manning the counter were so nice and helpful, the store is adorable and I cant wait to come back and try the other cookie kinds. they even have the larger celebration cookies I remember well from my teen/​still in GI years and see often on my friends FB feeds.
stop by an Eileens. you wont be sorry.
Parking there is a very large lot in this shopping mall area. look for the sign that says «cookies» and follow the others going in.

You will never find a better cookie.
Me and my friend were riding around town one day, and decided to stop in for Eileen’s. We first grabbed a 3 inch decorated cookie. Friend went for the Elmo, I went for the baseball.
Me: «Oh my gosh.»
Friend: «This is amazing.»
Me: «Agreed»
Friend (smacking lips): «I want another one.»
Me: «Me too.»
After getting two more double lemon cookies (people who get the regular lemon cookies without the frosting have no soul):
Friend: «This is quite amazing.»
Me: «Indeed.»
Also, ONE DOZEN FROSTED ALMOND BUTTERCREAM SUGAR COOKIES FOR ONLY FIVE DOLLARS? ARE YOU SERIOUS? That’s less than 50 cents a cookie! Places like The Cookie Company should be crying in shame.

Dessert always comes a’ callin’ after a yummy meal has been eaten.
It goes a lil’ bit like this:
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
– in my head: «Dessert stomach, you need to calm yourself, we don’t need dessert after EVERY meal.»
*Ding– Dong* *Ding– Dong* *Ding-​Dong*
– «okay, just one cookie. one and only one cookie.»
I failed. I had two.
Little did I know that Eileen means business when her sign says, «Eileen’s COLOSSAL cookies.» So, dessert stomach, you you basically got two servings of dessert. Lucky you. Abs, I’m sorry, we will workout soon.”
I got a chocolate chip cookie to enjoy while watching a film in the theater, don’t worry movie theaters, I bought something from your concession stand too, so you didn’t lose much money, if you start serving Eileen’s colossal cookies, then we’ll have more business to work out. Until then, I will enjoy my chewy, huge chocolate chips, in a colossal cookie, from Eileen while enjoying the film in your theater with a medium cherry coke from your concession.
The cookie was different from my all time favorite, Cookie corner, back home on O’ahu, but it was GOOD. My boyfriend’s sister bought a bag of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and those were delicious, they lacked the colossal size, but still maintained the colossal taste. If you’re near an eileen’s cookie shop and you’re craving some sugar in the form of a cookie, Eileen would be a good choice. It will satisfy your dessert stomach and quiet the knocking and ding-​donging that stomach makes.
