I consider a decadent breakfast on a Sunday morning with my wife every bit as good as a nice dinner out, perhaps even better. And this is our place in Omaha. And evidently not just ours, as there is usually a short but constant wait for a table. But we’ve never had less than first rate service. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict today… absolutely perfect… with(the decadent part) a side of bacon. My wife had an omelet(they are all wonderful) and… her her act of decadence, a Belgian Waffle with all the fixings. I just knew we’d need a take home box. Sorry, nothing left on the plates. Nada. And the best part is that we didn’t feel stuffed leaving! It was our meal of the day and it was decadent but it was so good that we had no Food Coma sensation and went out and had an active day. If I had to find a negative, it would be they could do their home potatoes with more imagination and flavor. Of course, the hidden positive is that anyone who will serve me a 12 oz. Mimosa at 10 am on a Sunday is a winner in my book.

This was my first time there — I have heard good things and wanted to give it a try. The wait toThe food was delicious. I got the bacon and cheddar pancake with egg whites and bacon. All were cooked wonderfully and it was a full serving of egg whites. Getting drinks was really delayed and then there was a little bit of snottiness when I asked for my water glass to be filled. I was pretty clear in my request so I was really annoyed when she led me to believe she was going to meet it and then wrote it off in that it should have been good because she had filled the water bottle which is about the same size as a glass of water. Food would have definitely been 4 stars, I am going to knock it down a star.

The place is at the right spot! The juice options are really good and fresh and healthy as claimed and advertised. This is rarely true but First Watch sure is rare. I had the avocado toast which come with basted eggs. Pretty neat stuff and beautifully decorated on the plate. The pancakes are really big. so seriously think about your stack order. I had the multigrain chocolate chip pancake and I loved it. This place is a must visit for anyone who enjoys a nice and healthy breakfast.

I gotta say, I’m coming from Chicago to visit family around here in Omaha, and The food here is Beyond Great! Extremely Fresh looking and tasting food. Service was amazing! There was a waitress that let us know that she gets a little busy around the time we got there and offered if we would mind a whole pot or jug of whatever drink we ordered, which was really nice of her. Also their specialty drinks are amazing! There are similar Brunch restaurants here in Chicago that I would compare it to, and these restaurants have lines leading out of their buildings constantly. But the way First Watch presents themselves may exceed the way the one’s here do. Would definitely recommend to anyone I know that will be passing through Omaha. Thanks for the Great Service!

What a hidden gem in Omaha. First, the environment is very inviting and comfortable. The place was packed but I didn’t feel crammed in here. I am in Omaha for three weeks for training and I am glad I chose to eat here. All the food was very fresh and tasted amazing. I had an omelette and it came out just the way I ordered it. The staff was very friendly and checked on us several times to make sure everything was good. I will definitely come back to eat.

This is a place where the written food item description exceeds the execution of the dish in person. Nothing against the cooks as the problem lies in the quality of the ingredients. My daughter had the Eggs Benedict. The ham is what you get in a package at HyVee; thin and tasteless. The sauce was not special. The tomatoes were flat. I had this crêpe-egg thing. Same problem as noted above. A tiny portion of bacon bits, turkey cubes and avocado added nothing. The best things were the English muffins, seasoned potatoes and coffee. Music was way too loud. Bright and cheery interior. Good margins and throughput. Greg Cutchall knows how to run a restaurant.

i do not recommend first watch. the food is decent, as is the wireless, but i am at this moment having bad service with the servers. it has been over an hour since i asked for a refill on the soda. and the servers look as though i am not even wanted here despite the fact that the meal is payed in full. 0⁄10 would not recommend.

Service is great. Menu not bad, but their seasoned potatoes with all breakfasts are bland and many times burnt. They should cut the potatoes in bigger chunks and offer more where they wouldn’t be charred in spots and too little

Everything at First Watch screams fresh and healthy got a Monte Cristo and it was delicious portion was right for the 9 $ price. The only downfall was the Chickenchanga which is basically your breakfast burrito filled with chicken and chorizo, but mine was filled excessively with onions, onions, and more onions yuck! ALLINALLITISBASICALLY A BREAKFASTVERSIONOFPANERA prices aswell.

This place has a meal that helps me stay strong — The Tri-athlete. It is basic but I add one of their tonics as s healthier choice. It is not a cozy place but bright and sunny! Room for many and they serve coffee if you have to wait. I recommend the delicious Kale tonic. Say hi to me ’cause it’s a fave! «We definitely have to come back to this place!» Ava, age 9. I do not hesitate to agree. To me, a 5 star rating means a top quintile; does not mean it has to be perfect. Atmosphere: bright and lively and spacious and clean. Menu: great variety, clean foods, high quality, love the fresh juice options. I had the Day Glow juice which was delicious. Service: helpful and friendly and FAST. We received our order within 5 minutes on a busy Saturday. I enjoyed the turkey sausage biscuits and gravy; the sourdough toast was light and airy with good chew. My daughter ordered off the kids menu and devoured her one egg, bacon, and a fruit cup. One slight area for improvement was the kids’ fruit cup was almost all grapes and looked uninspired. Some berries would have been great. My daughter loved the bacon, and that is one of her favorite foods. Nice to have another great breakfast choice. Still love Lisa’s Radial Café, but that’s more of a greasy spoon(in a good way). Since this aksarben location is closer to me, it may become my new go-to breakfast spot.

We were looking for a place to eat breakfast on Sunday morning. I had the egg & onion hash and she had some crepes thing. Couldn’t have been happier with the food and service. Everything was cooked just right and tasted excellent. Most everything that we like to make the dining experience better was thought of in advance, and if not; it was provided with a smile. Looking forward to our next stop here.

You know, I wanted to love, love, love First Watch. I like it. Like it a lot. But it’s breakfast. It’s difficult for me to find Heaven in breakfast. They do a very nice job, very clean, warn atmosphere and you can depend on what comes out of their kitchen. But maybe you don’t want or need«deconstructed quail eggs with free-range ham» for breakfast. Heck. It’s simple and straightforward with no dancing girls or magicians, but that’s okay. My buddy said the pancakes were light and tasty, my eggs were spot on.

Hands down my favourite breakfast place in Omaha. For starters they have the best coffee of anyone. They have a wide variety of breakfast options; from healthy options to great griddle options, and their Eggs-clusives. They also offer real maple syrup for a small additional charge. This morning I had the Chickichanga for the first time, it was delicious. The service is very attentive even when they are busy. I’m impressed whenever the wait staff checks back to make sure everything is okay. Highly recommended!

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Omaha for a couple reasons. They are consistently great with their service, and the same can be said for their food. I usually get their traditional breakfast which is the basic 2 eggs any way you like it, potatoes, two strips of bacon or sausage, and toast or English muffin. The other great thing though is their unique menu. They have hash bowls, and unusual combinations on other dishes that you haven’t heard of before, that my dining partner has tried something different each and every time we went and never been disappointed with his choice. This time I got the trifecta which is the traditional breakfast minus the potatoes with a Belgian waffle or pancake instead. This was the first time we had been there with 4 people so I didn’t realize how small the tables were once everyone got their plates and everything else there. It definitely would have been nice to have some more room! We will continue to go back though, as we love this place!

Their Corporate office did not like my last review, so they offered a free meal for me and my wife to get me to return. I didn’t use it because that would seem to me that I was being paid for my review. That would defeat my purpose and that of Unilocal.Previously I gave them a three star review, which is an «OK» review, so their offer impressed me about their striving for excellence. Today we went there again and once again we were greeted by a friendly hostess and and immediately shown to our table. Our server Christin appeared quickly and was friendly and knowledgeable. She quickly brought us coffee and water while we looked over the menu. My wife ordered the Multigrain Pecan Pancake, and she loved it. She said that it contained a lot of Pecans. The bacon was cooked the way she likes it. She ordered one pancake and due to the size, she said that any more would be too much. I ordered the Steak & Eggs Florentine from the Summer Special Menu. It is served with toasted Ciabatta. The steak was cooked the way I like it, medium rare. The Florentine eggs were delicious and the portion was just the right size. I also ordered a Bloody Mary, which is one of the better ones I’ve had. This time we enjoyed our experience and will be returning again. I’ve changed my rating from three stars to four. One other thing that I want to clear up was about the fact that I liked IHOP’s omelet better. First Watch’s is natural, like the ones you could prepare at home. IHOP uses their pancake mix when preparing the omelet, which makes for a fluffy omelet. I still prefer IHOP’s omelet, but that is not a criticism of First Watch’s, just my preference.

I’ve tried this place several times with various friends or family members and never had a bad meal either for breakfast or lunch. The coffee was excellent and the fruit fresh. The prices are reasonable and they sometimes have coupons when joining the email list. The menu changes up seasonally. I really like the booths and would enjoy the outdoor seating when the weather warms up. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. I recall they play a lot of 80s radio music which doesn’t bother me. The only person who I’ve been there with who didn’t like it is my husband but he is picky, dislikes new things and was in a bad mood that day — all a recipe for disaster. I took his uneaten meal home with us and ate it later! Consistantly good food and service, in my opinion. No giant surprises.

Quality breakfast-centric food in a lively, bright atmosphere. Yep, I finally made it to First Watch. It was jam-packed on a Sunday afternoon. Still, we only waited five minutes before our four-top was seated. The menu is huge. You can order gut-busters like a pile of pancakes and a scramble(eggs, meats, and cheeses) or stick to healthier options(lots of kale and quinoa going around). I kind of went with the middle ground — one banana crunch pancake paired with an energy bowl. I loved the pancake. It tasted like a fluffy, flattened slice of banana bread. The energy bowl was OK. A bowl of sugary granola topped with a few slices of fruit with yogurt on the side. I’d of like to have seen less granola and more fruit, but oh well. Service was fast and friendly. They really crammed our table full food and drink, including pitchers for water, tea and coffee, making elbow room a little hard to come by. First Watch is a great spot for a casual brunch with friends and family, complete with healthy options. Just don’t expect a lot of room to spread out and relax.

I’ve been to the First Watch in Orlando and fell in love with the carrot pancakes. They also served a blend of Central American coffee which was superb. Imagine my excitement when I heard they were opening in Omaha. I’ve gone a couple of times and it never seems to disappoint. Usually you have to wait between 5 – 15 min to be seated but it is worth it. The place is very bright and fresh. Staff is very friendly and coffee is fantastic. The carrot pancakes are a must. The have good omelets. You see many people that just stop by while cycling or running for a quick bite, but you can stay and have a nice long breakfast if you want to too.

We’re back because a voucher came in the mail for buy one get one free and I wanted to try the carrot pancake this time. It’s candied with walnuts. Not exactly what I was expecting. But edible. Pretty sweet as well due to the candying which makes it crispy as well. Oh and raisins just like traditional carrot cake. It’s always so nice that when they see you coming they open the door for you. oh and the lovely forever 80s music in the background! Oh and I’m thinking the last time I came I might have been served decaf on the first round or they fixed something(based on their comment below) bc I’m wide awake after two cups this time! Oh and Jen the server is awesome! Offered us to go coffees with no extra charge!
