The employees are so helpful and friendly. I gave them a budget and the type of gifts I had in mind. They found me the perfect gifts. They have so many options for anyone within any budget. I bought my coworkers holiday gifts and waited while they wrapped them. Their customers were men and women between the ages of 16 – 90. There was a man in town for work. He was getting a gift for his wife and his«niece» who was a 20 something English major. The gifts were charged separately. He haggled for a lower price. A 20 year old techie came in and got his girlfriend a gift for $ 40. A woman driving a Bentley came in and bought a pen for a coworker. A grandma bought kitchen gadgets for her daughter. A tourist from Japan bought ornaments. A 40 year old woman bought beautiful glass jars with a coral design. I got cheese boards shaped like the state, cheese cutters, Berkshire cups with matching hand towels, and fondue cups for under $ 225. They wrap gifts for free.

Super cool little shop, I love this place~ Neat stuff, very unique items for sale, classy and quirky. Expensive, mostly, but quality.

Total random assortment of things, pretty fun and innovative. The kitchen things take up a good portion of the store but there are so many random things I can’t even begin to list them all. Many of the labels are European and the style there I would categorize as «eclectic» a new term I’ve just become familiar with in home décor. If you’ve been to urbanoutfitters and like their random section of home and book items, you’ll like Gadgeteer. It is located behind the current five guys off dodge.

If you haven’t been to the Gadgeteer, go check it out. Its a fun place to go for unique baby gifts, wedding gifts, or just to browse. It also one of the few stores in Omaha that carries Alessi products. It is kind of hidden behind the Border’s at 72nd and Dodge. The Gadgeteer has been there forever, but the response I get when I bring people there is «I had no idea this was here!» or «I’ve seen this place but never knew what it was». Like I said, if you haven’t been already, you should go check it out. They sell cool stuff that you never realized you needed :)

Expensive speciality shop but they have stuff you really can’t get anywhere else in Omaha. I love going in just to look around. It’s hard to get out without buying something.
