I chalk this one up to high expectations. My sister-in-law told us we HAD to go here when we visited Omaha. She remember going years and years ago and remembered it be good. Well, it’s been about 4 or 5 years since then I think; and they were okay. There were certainly lots to cookies to chose from and we got a dozen to go. Oatmeal chocolate chip, peanut butter, frosted, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raison pretty much rounded out the selection. They were a bit thin but still tasted pretty good. The sugar cookie itself for the frosted one was really good, but the icing tasted strange. If you’re close by, stop on in; but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there.

Pretty damn good peanut butter cookie. Super soft and moist. The chocolate chip didn’t do anything for me… was actually kinda gritty. Not a lot of selection when I went but maybe I went at an off time? Noticed they sold sodas in the cooler, where’s the milk!!!

I have a horrible horrible sweet tooth… My dentist once told me that in order to not have British teeth, I need to stop eating cookies and cake… I thanked him for his two cents and then shoved a cupcake up his no-no hole for ever advising something so horrid as ceasing my sugar intake. RUDE! So, do you ever ask yourself«Where can I get the best ____?» Where can I get the best Vietnamese, where can I get the best weave? Well, after seeing some Cookiearie reviews, I found myself asking the same question about cookies. Where are the best cookies in Omaha? Of course, the subject of cookies is as sensitive as zit faced greasy haired teenage girl who just got dumped two days before prom. Not sure this question can be objectively answered, but I sure have gone on a quest to find some good cookies! So I found myself here at Kristen’s located in Rockbrook Village. The inside was crawling with various ancillary products for sale, but who cares about that stuff when the cookies are what you came for! Come to find out there were sooooo many flavors that it was hard to get my $ 10 dozen! Take a look at the picture I posted for this place to see the standard flavours. They do have other specialty ones like that creepy as eff ‘it’ cookie that will eat your hand if you don’t eat him first! I would say that my all time favorite out of the bunch was the caramel choco choco chip cookie. It was seriously this oozie woozie loosey goosey hot mess of a cookie with huge porous zits of caramel and pockets of choco chips. My description might sound yucky, but it was good! If you like softer cookies more like homemade ones, you will like this place! Of course, I’m more fan of a seared cookie that is barely cooked on the inside crawling with bacteria from uncooked egg, so I’m still on my quest for the BEST cookie. But in the meanwhile, I think I will stop back here from time to time. Oh and in case you were wondering, I did not share that dozen of cookies with everyone because I’m a cookie monster!!! RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR!!!

The owner needs to learn some hospitality and customer service. I went to pick up a special order and the cookies were cracked and burnt. Rather than offering to help in any way; she aruges with me that they were fine when she placed them out. She argues with me and says we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Did you forget the term, «the customer is always right?» I would NEVER recommend her service, never recommend her cookies. On top of ALL of the frustrations and her bickering with me and still wanting to charge me for burnt and broken cookies; I ordered them chocolate covered, when I went to lift the cookies out, the cookies broke in half. NEVEREVER would recommend this store!!!
