Been going here for years. Very good pizza and philly’s. Love their pizza sauce and the quality of the toppings is excellent. Beats all the big pizza chains hands down. The only down side is the place has no atmosphere and the food is somewhat inconsistent from visit to visit, which is a turn off to first time customers if they come on a bad night.

We stopped here as it was recommended by a friend and we were in town from out of state. The food was good. The gal, Kirsten, that took our order was extremely rude and not to just us. An order came back as it was cold and she told the gal«step aside». She the asked us «what do you want?» Now, I get that they were busy but customer service should NEVER, EVER take a back seat no matter how busy you may be. Without your customers, you don’t have a restaurant or a job! When we ordered she asked«what else.» We waited for over 20 minutes for our food… calzone, onion rings, a philly cheese steak and a pitcher of beer. Our food came and no beer. The gentleman that brought our food promised to return with our pitcher. Fifteen minutes later, still no pitcher. We finally went back up and Cheyenne made sure we got it right away. We won’t be back… even though the food was good… I do not tolerate rude employees or extremely poor customer service.

Last night we went to this restaurant which, according to their menu says they close at 11pm. It appears they close at 8:23 when the staff starts yelling at each other in the dining room and puts chairs up around you. Oh, and no salad bar.

A simple, but nice and clean place. The staff are friendly. Everything we’ve tried is yummolicious! Especially the baked chicken parm. Their onion rings are the best I’ve had! We definitly will going back again an again! *** EDIT9÷04÷15 *** My husband and I have been wanting to try their pizza for awhile, but haven’t till yesterday. We were NOT disapointed! It was very good! We got one of the specialty pizzas, resonable price. They do, however, need to add banana peppers to their toppings list! :-)

On my way out of town I called in my favorite buffalo chicken pizza in the world. I was not disappointed, that thing is delicious and only wish I had a Lansky’s in KC.

Great place to eat. If you love pizza, pasta and Philly’s, then Lansky’s is the place. It’s definitely one of the landmark places to eat in the city.

Ok, Italian here. I want to tear the alfredo and sausage off the menu. Worst I have ever had. Please please loose your sausage recipe. loose the supplier. The no name brand 4 for a dollar hot dogs are closer to sausage than what you serve up here! blahhhhhh

I go to this place all the time. Love their cheese personal pizza, & fries with the beer cheese sauce. One of my go-to spots when I want some pizza. Service is always great. My husband really likes their chicken calzone. Food is always good.

Not impressed at all. Staff are polite but food tastes pre-made, frozen and thawed. Just couldn’t eat all my food and came home and had a sandwich but that’s my personal opinion.

On my quest to find decent pizza in Omaha we tried this place. I didn’t go in or look at the menu before, I was just handed this take out pizza, so my review may be a little one dimensional for now. After eating several slices of pepperoni I have come up with a new category for pizza like this. It’s called joke pizza. The crust is way too thick and soggy, it’s more like French bread with way too much cheese, adequate sauce and not near enough toppings. It’s looks just like cheesy bread you would get when your driver from Dominos is late with your order and has to make up for it somehow, so he gives you consolation cheesey bread. Sorry your pizza is one hour late, here is some bread. So, you can see why I came up with this new category called joke pizza, because it’s so far from what good pizza should taste like I go into tangents of horrible jokes about pizza. As my endless pizza quest continues, hopefully I will uncover less jokes and more tasty pie. And to the good people who love this place and think it’s great, like my husband, that’s great, I know it’s good and great, for you, but I’m just particular when it comes to pizza, that’s all. And I really did like the sauce. Good sauce! It’s just everything else that didn’t settle well.

Pizza was undercooked, soggy and exceptional greasy. The crust smelled of Cysco. The toppings were placed under the cheese and, hence, undercooked. The cheesesteak came on a semi-stale, loaf-like bun that reminded me of a bad church basement roll. It was anything but extraordinary. Neither offerings do anything to advance Omaha’s culinary scene. The cheesesteak, in fact, is a bit of an insult to the great city of Philadelphia. We deserve better. If there was a 1.5 start option, i’d exercise it here.

We walked in skeptical but came out loving this place! This is a restaurant that Omahans frequent and I’m glad to have experienced it. To celebrate singles awareness day, a friend and I came here because all regular restaurants were booked up for the happy couples. Like most places I eat at, I found Lansky’s through Unilocal, and boy does the Unilocal community deliver! This place is truly awesome. A no frills, no funny business, Italian joint this place serves up affordable, delicious straight up Italian. And I can’t get enough of it! You order up front, fill your own drinks, and get your own utensils, pack your own leftovers. All things you need are up at the front on a wall adjacent to the register. Such an efficient system. We both ordered the chicken parmesan and it came out piping hot smothered in gooey cheese. Needless to say, I devoured it easily. The entrée also came with 2 pieces of garlic bread, which I didn’t know so I ordered a side of garlic bread(6 slices for $ 3.20! Awesome deal) which wasn’t a bad decision because it came with a delicious marinara sauce! My friend and I throughly enjoyed out meal and are already planning our next trip to Lansky’s!

I am a sucker for local joints with a history, and this fits that bill nicely. Unfortunately I don’t think I ordered the right thing. Their claim to fame is pizza and pasta, but I ordered philly sandwiches, both regular and Italian style chicken. The regular Philly was good, but they were pretty skimpy with everything except green peppers. It was not that flavorful either, pretty bland. The Italian style chicken philly was a joke, it should not even be on the menu because it is inedible. The bun was soggy and falling apart, the chicken had a sour off taste to it that was very unappealing, and it came out so steaming hot that I had to wait over five minutes to take a bite. Service was pretty slow too. I will need to return here and try the pizza and pasta to get a complete review.

Love the Calzones! I like the veggie one, and the Italian sausage one. The salads are good also, try the Italian Sauage.

I have only done carry out, and it is still one of the best pizzas in Omaha. Great crust, bubbly toppings to the edge of the pie. Quality ingredients, and plenty of them. Plus they use a combo of mozzarella and romano cheeses, which can make a nice difference to the palate. One time my order did get messed up. Rather than give me a half sausage, half pepperoni. I ended up with all sausage. Fine by me, but my 12 yr old niece griped a little, oh well it was very good! Check out their frosted sugar cookies too! As an impulse I bought a black & white cookie at the register and it was to die for. Apparently they are in high demand because I’ve wanted them other times and they have been out. Grab one if you can. Right now, my favorite carry out in Omaha! Yummy…

As a former employee and customer at both the 50th St and HWY370 locations, this review goes for both. Lansky’s serves cheap food that’s about as well prepared as it could get. The food isn’t terribly fresh, it’s generally not prepared that day and it’s certainly not made with the finest and most expensive ingredients. However, there is no pretense about it, and the food tastes good, so there is no reason to really mark them down for that. The reason I’m giving it three stars rather than four is that the food does have a unique taste to it. It’s not hard to see why several of my friends think much less of the place than I do. The marinara sauce has an odd burn to it, and the philly cheese-steaks taste both genuine and mercilessly manufactured at the same time. Beer and mini-bottles of wine are available, though the selection is very limited. Prices are good, and the atmosphere is much calmer than you might expect a pizza-and-phillies joint to be. If you’re looking to try a different kind of pizza than you get at your Pizza Huts and Papa John’s(how the bloody hell do you make that plural?), then give Lansky’s a try.

Superb take-out service and well executed food. The pizza is good and the sandwiches are tasty, too. I can vouch for the butcher block pizza, the spicy sausage calzone, and the fried pickles as all being eat-worthy! :)

I love Lansky’s cheese bread! It’s so yummy! Whenever I’m in the mood for cheese, I go here for their cheese bread or cheese pizza. So good. Mm mm good. They have a pretty nice salad bar too as well as cookies that are also yummy.
