Best Greek food in town, hands down. The meats are delicious and the vegetables are always fresh. Try the kabobs for something different. Also, the supreme style is the way to go on your gyros to get a super tasty mix of grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms and melted cheese! The gem of this place is the homemade baklava. It is so awesome that I feel like I need a shower after eating it — it is that sinful.

If you are wanting to have some really good Greek food, I highly recommend this place. We eat at this restaurant about once a month as it is one of our favorites. I always have the gyro platter with Greek potatoes and it is wonderful. I spoke with the owner about the meat that they use in the gyro since I was wondering why it tastes so much better than other Greek restaurants. He said that they use gyro meat with no soy filler, and I can certainly tell the difference in the taste. After our gyros, we split a piece of homemade baklava. They make it every morning, and it is the best baklava we’ve ever had. OMG, now I want a piece since I’m typing this! The next time I go, I going to try the Adana Kabob. The owner described it to me and it sounds great, and of course I’ll have the baklava too!

Amazing! The service was excellent and the gyros were the best I’ve had! I recommend it to people who love Turkish food, along with those who hate Turkish food! 11⁄10

Outstanding. Tried the Gyros supreme & the shrimp Gyros. The best I’ve ever had. Do not miss the opportunity to try the best potatoes ever as well. I look forward to my next visit because I will come back

Outstanding food! I’ve eaten their twice and each time was great. The first time I had their ‘house special’ Alexander Gyro and it was excellent. Next time I had the regular gyro which was doubtlessly the best gyro I’ve had. The meat was tasty and they grill it up so its nice and crispy. The staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a 15 minute drive from my house in Papillion but it’s totally worth it!

Holy moly this hidden treasure is fantastic! Best Greek potatoes in Omaha!!! We will be back for more! I am seriously impressed with the cleanliness, the customer service and the atmosphere. The owner warned us about what was gluten free and was very cautious with our meals. Highly recommend!

Legacy Gyros is a very easy Greek restaurant. A lot of times they can be very overwhelming and intimidating. The menu isn’t too crazy and it is pretty easy to follow if you have any experience with gyro shops in your past. My first experience was pretty easy: a gyro supreme combo on pita bread with Greek potatoes. The sauce was on the side so you were able to add as much or as little as you’d like. Other experiences at other restaurants use way too much and it’s impossible to eat. My gyro had quality flavor and the meat was plentiful(but not too much to handle). A lot of times(pretty much every time) a gyro is a giant gut bomb. My gyro at Legacy was pretty easy eating. I could see myself going back for lunch and continue on with my day without needing a nap or feeling awful. I will be back with my punch card to try a side of fries next time. They looked really good. Brat

I stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday in December. Typical gyros restaurant concept. Order at the counter. Grab your utensils, condiments, and drink and they bring your food to you. I ordered the Gyros in a combo, so I got a drink and Greek Potatoes with it(fries were also an option). The gyros was good. Not as largely portioned as I’ve had at most other gyros restaurants. Their gyros has a slightly different taste than what I am used to. Not bad by any means, but just a bit different. Gyros comes with gyros meat, tomatoes, onions, and Tzatziki on a pita. Tzatziki is in a cup on the side so you can control the portion. Greek potatoes were good, but a little undercooked. Overall, an above average gyros meal, but not great. They have a «Combo Card» you can get that they’ll punch every time you order a combo. After 7 punches you get the 8th combo meal for free. Tuesdays are double-punch days. Baklava was good, but a little soggy and bit overpriced($ 3.50/piece) No fresh brewed iced tea. They have fountain iced tea(iced tea from concentrate) that uses deceptive dispensers to make you think you’re getting fresh brewer iced tea, but you can see the fountain lines coming out of the back of the containers and it has that off taste that fountain iced tea gets. Please switch to FRESH brewed tea. You wouldn’t serve your customers instant coffee, would you? No. So, why serve them tea made from concentrate? I guess I was a little underwhelmed. Given the average reviews at the time I visited this place I was expecting to be blown away by some of the best gyros I’ve ever eaten. That didn’t happen. Service was friendly and the kitchen was fast. Restaurant was clean and well-maintained.

My husband and I decided to try this place since Katie’s closed, and we are really glad that we did. The feisty feta was amazing with the pita bread, and the baklava was the best we’ve had. The prices are very reasonable and the owner genuinely cares about everyone having an excellent experience. Feel free to try anything you want because it is all amazing.

They have a feta dip appetizer that is scrumptious. Good gyros, kid friendly. We really like it.

All I can say is, wow. Dropped off a watch for repair at a nearby store and saw the sign for Legacy Gyro. I was greeted in a very friendly manner, the service was incredibly efficient and, to be honest, the food was the best Greek fare I’ve had since I lived in New York many years ago. Can’t recommend this place enough. I will be back. Often.

Despite reading some good reviews, I was moderately shocked at how excellent Legacy Gyros actually is. This is a fresh and high-quality take on the«average» gyro-slinging joint, with diverse meals featuring fresh ingredients and personal takes on old favorites, all under the watchful eye of a gregariously friendly owner. For a recent dinner, I went with the Alexander Gyros(which was listed on the menu as the House Special) and also sampled three selections of hummus, along with pita chips. The gyros meat was extremely moist and flavorful, as it were positioned over a bed of tomato sauce mixed with yogurt(which tasted much better than it sounds). The portion of gyro meat was large, and quite frankly just about all I could eat in one sitting. The rice included with the plate was standard fare. The soft pita bread selections also included were good. The three different selections of hummus were non-earth shattering, but all good in there own way. As an appetizer, it was a good mix of dips that could please multiple people at once. It’s clear Legacy Gyros is freshly preparing meals, so the wait is perhaps a bit longer than other places with more pre-fixed dishes. As a mom and pop business, the prices are a dollar or two over a chain, but it’s a good value and certainly worth the wait.

I was out in this area shopping and I was pleased that this greek-style eatery on my to try list was right down the street. my GPS was saying it was to my «right» but I didn’t see anything in the courtyard so I exited to come back around and found it by Sam and Louies closest to the street. there is parking out front. the owner was per the other reviews– fantastic and very kind. this place does ROCK. first of all delicious baklava! I had tasty red pepper hummus with fresh fried and hot pita chips and a herb marinated and grilled chicken kebab platter with the yummiest pita I’ve had in years! and a lovely little salad with awesome dressing. all was very tasty and very fresh. I loved the additional salad to top the pita and rice pilaf and was happy that I have such a wonderful option to satisfy my pita rice pilaf and kabob cravings! YUM!

Portion is ample for the money. I had a chicken & beef kebab with desert of baklava. It took awhile to prepared mine since the chicken & the beef needed to be grill. They were good but not something to write home about. If I ever go back here, I will try the gyro for sure!

Simply put, this place rocks. The service is excellent; the owner is so kind and will go out of his way to get whatever you need. This is my first time here, and I already felt it would be a disservice not to write a review. Legacy Gyros has a modern, almost«fast food place» kind of feel, but the food is authentic and delicious. The Gyros Supreme are amazing, I loved them with some beer-battered fries(I’m not a huge fan of Greek potatoes). For dessert I had some homemade baklava with Turkish coffee, and neither disappointed. I can’t wait to come back!
